If everything I've so far enjoyed stays that good then this will be the one of the best seasons since like 2014 maybe? I'm expecting disappointments though.

It's pretty ballin' especially after summer-backlog-2016.

There is a lot of shoujo/fujoshit but this season is pretty good. I forget what season it was, around last winter? but that was the worst season in a long time.

We have had some great shows recently. It must be atonement for almost every big name in the anime industry dying or becoming ill.

Winter, Spring and Summer were pretty bad yeah, there were like one or two good shows per season, so Fall is far better by landslide. The only really bad ones are Bloodivores, Occultic;Nine, Nanbaka and Trickster. There are at least 20 shows ranging from above average to top.

I exclude all slice of life and school anime exclusively from my watch lists. I have no issues with finding things to watch each season that don't bore me to death. In fact, it's been more of a boon to my anime watching since I was able to avoid atrocities such as Diamond is Unbreakable, Anne Happy and all of Summer 2015(26 slice of life anime, of which none were good). I'm giving it another try this Fall with 3gatsu since it's by a reputable studio and the source is good as well.
