I'm still convinced this author had recently finished an anatomy course & decided to make a story around his sketches.

He probably had a loose story, but never intended for AoT to get THIS popular, but once it did he had to flesh out the story (no pun intended).

I come up with/write a bunch of stories. A lot of them are just outlines though, things that I think sounded cool, but I never went farther than that. Just coming from that perspective, I wonder if AoT was exactly that.

Honestly don't think it is so bad, there always was the riddle about the outside world and with titans ignoring the wild life, at least humans would be able to survive wherever if they find a good spot titans couldnt reach and just live from seafood or whatever

So the world was never fucked up, it was just the mystery where those people are.

What am more interested in is what is with other countries, like are those in war with Eldia, considering they need ressources, there needs to be a reason for that.
