Back from vacation, and Mob psycho chapter 97 (part 2) is done. This will probably be my last chapter, since apparently another group is doing it too and they're one week ahead.

Another alternative would be skipping the weekly releases and restricting myself to tankobons, which might be the best solution but will require a lot of effort from cleaners.

FYI if you use Fiddler and proxy to your computer on a tablet/phone, you can get the raws are full quality. I tried it out myself. Only issue is that you have to do this the first time you read the chapter or else it gets cached and I don't know where the images are getting cached. Annoyingly each chapter needs its own temporary key, so you'd have to do this every week. I'll try posting full quality MangaONE chapter in a bit (I need to download the newest apk for mangaONE).

In all honesty it's a pretty annoying workflow to get these high quality images. Even after the proxy, they use webp (google's compression) which requires you to convert it from webp to png (meaning downloading a libwebp convertor or uploading the files to a conversion website). If it's ever relevant again I'll be sure to post a complete guide (or maybe if someone's scanlating another mangaONE series and are up-to-date, I'll pass this to them).

He's taking away people's choice and forcing them to worship him. I'd say that's pretty shitty. I think the reason Mob's so pissed is that he feels this affects his family and friends more than the Claw Boss fight (which affected all of Japan) or Mogami (which affected him and the possessed chick). the point is, what does it matter? It's not like we have choice in every aspect of our lives. It begins with the mere aspect that we are born as humans. No one decided "yeah, this time i will be born as a human instead of a dog", or that we humans have instincts and simply desires programmed into us from birth. Or where and by whom we get born.
All of those are things we have no choice in, but no one cares because that is just how things are. If we add another element into it, one that makes us happy, why not let it happen?
Of course ONE shot himself in the foot in that the Tree is sucking up all the nutrients of the city, thus regardless of the brainwashing the tree needs to be stopped

First he got people who are depressed and such to follow them, then he brainwashed them with the mask to be happy and making them think this is a good way to be happy.
It's pretty much the same as he does now, except it was a smaller scale without means to make it a virus
