Recoil isn't only going backwards. That'd be the main component, yes, but not all of it. And you've got to realize, there was about 200 kg of adding its momentum to the gun's own. Recoil is about overcoming momentum. Furthermore, you seem to think that recoil is much more severe than it actually is. It's really not much force at all, even considering its an anti-tank rifle.

There were cases in WW2 where pilots were flying without a front canopy panel due to it getting shot out. Admittedly they were generally wearing goggles, but not always. As for the lack of goggles, magic and MC powers. If magic can make the thing fly in the first place, it should be able to divert some wind away from your face.

That sounds strange. Maybe she fell into some trance/rage and doesn't remember, but then she should have a gap in her memory and wonder what the heck happened.
Or she just gets sad about killing like that every time, or they put that there because they wanted to show some characterization and didn't want to show her getting captured (yet).

Few possible explanations:
Her power went wild and she acted unconsciously, so she doesn't know that she did it.
It isn't her first time, she just really isn't used to it- i.e. her reactions were poorly written.
The writer fucked up by including the "whole company" line.

I'm going to go with the second one, or perhaps the third.

I took all that as meaning that she draws her power (or at least some of it) from the land around her. After she does it the first time, when the fighters show up, she says "I can fight here." Then, when they cross over the mountain, she suddenly loses a bunch of power and stops being able to maneuver.

Rewatching that scene, you may be right. Though she probably has to still siphon and store her power, or it is partial as you say. If not, I hope they don't use it as a convenient plot device.
I had another idea, namely that it's somehow connected to hime, and lowest after hime has lost consciousness. Not sure about that though, as her powers seemed to fade before hime even fired her shot.
