Is there anyone this woman isn't voicing? After Luluco and Wakaba Girl I don't mind her staying in the spotlight for a few more years desu:

Some pretty diverse roles there. She is quite versatile.
She's alright for some reason. Maybe she'll start pissing me off soon though.

Even this season where she's voicing four different MCs, no two are quite alike.

Why did she get into voice acting? Wasn't she Gokai-Yellow? She seemed to have a fairly promising physical acting career. Her acting was better than Green and Pink's at least.

I've liked her ever since her role as Kazumi from Brynhildr.

At the rate she's killing it, she probably makes better money doing all these roles at once. Maybe she's just an anime otaku.

She was also doing gravure, but maybe she just wanted a change of pace? Physical acting may have required her to do more gravure and maybe she just didn't want to do that anymore? She dresses super conservatively now for streams for stuff like iM@S and Monster Hunter now.

It's probably a strategy by her management to get her away from the gravure thing in order to appeal to seiyuu otaku more.

She is on paper at least a manga 3DPD type person. So it fits her besides super sentai acting is usually bottom of the barrel and the only one that gets any career bonus barring popular ones is whoever plays red.
>Her acting was better than Green and Pink's at least.
Pink's last notable role I think was playing a prostitute or something.
Super cute. I enjoyed Clomooclo.
MAO is fantastic, great range of voices. Been a fan since she voiced Fumika.
Does she not have a twitter? Couldn't find one, pretty surprising that her management wouldn't require her to have one.

Only has one rarely updated blog.
Cocona Cocona!

Ya I just saw that. That's honestly really weird, for such a popular seiyuu whose gotten a lot of main roles and is only getting more popular. Twitter just seems like a no brainer even if you don't post personal stuff you could just use it to promote all the media your in.
Bright Blue is a piece of crap that puts even ADHD kids to sleep from boredom!
Her Vorona was great.

Oba-san is still alive and kicking, amazing.

She doesn't have a Pokemon role yet.

So, what happened?

Allegedly Ichimichi Mao is a bit of a social recluse, who doesn't enjoy public appearances, doesn't keep in touch with her industry peers and is just generally shy. When she was a child actor, she also used a fake name, and even now she's using this weird alias that's really just her name. This is doubly amazing considering how her role of Luka in Gokaiger is a complete 180 from her in real life.
Her voice is recognizable and high pitched so I'm beginning to find it obnoxious when she's in yet another role. I liked Luluco at least.

Sometimes I kinda worry about voice actors whose job is to appear bubbly and cute every time they're visible to public.
