In my personal opinion Adventure is the best, Adventure 02 is also pretty good, Tamers is nice and everything after is a hit or miss with me personally disliking all the later seasons for probably autistic reasons. Give it a try though, it's a fun series/franchise!

Also, I saw the Digimon Movie with my friends when I was seven, and our parents had the proper response of being glad to see we were having fun.

That's what happens when you see the dubbed version, you deserve it.

Adventure was the best with its characters at the end of the day, Tamers threw the whole "most of the kids are okay, one has DEPRESSION AND PERSONALITY DISORDER" at me and I was like eh, Juri herself was believable enough but I doubt any kid with a broken family will feel better when her situations just about literal end of the world.

Less or no Davis at all (if no Davis make a better main character, if Davis make TK the main character). After that sings will solve themselves. Maybe more gen1 battles in the final arcs, hell I don't even know anymore if we saw MetalGarurumon at all. Oh yes and skip that HORRIBLE epilogue. That might have been the worst part about all this

I actually liked Davis. His acceptance of Ken and encouragement was sweet. I'd improve Yolei and Cody. Possibly make Yolei be more of a bookish quiet type that Hawkmon makes up for by being loud and impressive.

Am I the only one who was completely unable to feel anything when the Adventure Partners lost their memories? The Digimon anime repeats a lot of tidbits from characterisation (Ken to Yuu) and plotline (Leomon dies in every series). Presuming this is the same case with Tri, I think it will all turn out like Digimon Savers where the 06 Agumon reverted back to Koromon but immediately upon hatching it turns out that he still retains his memories.

tl;dr: Everything will be fine, nothing to cry about.

Why would they wear their school uniform to the digital world now when they were pretty casual about it as elementary school kids?

Speaking of Megas, I'm not liking how this series handles it. They don't give any explanation for the sudden power up. I don't need any fancy, chosen one, homoerotic prophecy like they had for Adventure 01 or a homoerotic fusion like Davis and Ken. I just want enough information to help me understand what happened. Like on what basis did Palmon, Gomamon and Tentomon reach their final forms?
