I highly recommend reading the manga. The first episode condensed like 35 chapters into one. It skipped out on a lot of important exposition that made all the scenes more meaningful. No, it just skipped them altogether and KINDA rushed one part of them.
For what it's worth I think they used their time wisely. Besides, I'd like to see the East-West War animated more than the first 35. PLUS, there will be OVAs with the upcoming BDs (1 for each volume) and I'm guessing those might cover the first chapters.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Really skipped the first part and didn't even show the MILF. And the race in the first episode skipped all the exposition and build-up, and shortened some fight scenes.
The east-west war definitely is the highlight and I want to see nothing skipped from the last part.

I understand the hips and butts, but I don't understand the breasts portion of Keijo. Boobs are soft and malleable, they'd probably hurt the girl using them more then the target if they tried smacking people with them like Yandere-chan did last episode. Only use I can think of is when Nozomi used it as a clinch.

This is something the anime just couldn't possibly cover.
The first 35 tests cover the entrance exams for getting into Keijo school. Miyata and Nozomi were very good in the mock race and pretty noteworthy on some of the other tests, but they usually fucked up or only figured out what to do too late. That's the real reason Nozomi was worried she hadn't passed. The tests were all surprises and the test-takers just had to figure out how they worked.

First off that's retarded, and no, it really isn't.
There is also basically no way they will cover it in future episodes, potentially in the (low budget) OVAs they said would be part of the BD sets in a year or two, but waiting that long is stupid as fuck. It's obvious they are going to animated up through chapter 90ish which means they have on average about 6 chapters an episode to rush through, there is really no way they have any time at all to go back and clarify things that already happened. Even the race they showed in the first episode they cut out a significant amount of content and important characterization, you have no idea why people were ganging up on Nozomi and Miyata for example or why the black haired girl hated Miyata so much, you never see that plot getting resolved either even though it's extremely important to her motivation to even do the sport.
If you just don't want to read it then don't read it, but you'd be stupid not to if you liked this episode enough to want to discuss it and are afraid of spoilers.

Kirei cake is indeed working on it but they're slow.
Not criticizing, they do a lot of series. They seem to release every 2 weeks, whereas the previous group released every few days (which is how they nearly closed the gap). As it is, the translations will never catch up. Someone else needs to pick it up; Kirei basically did because nobody else took the job when the last group had to stop due to life.
