It had too much QUALITY for my liking.
It wasn't drifters level but it was here and there quite a few times, shaft just can't into faces on TV sometimes.
I know they'll fix it later, so I'll just wait for the BDs, gonna drop for now.

But other than that it was nice.
The boke parts were meh, but the serious tone was set up quite nicely.

The BDs for this are kind of expensive. With a runtime of 150 minutes per release. Is it like 6 episodes per BD release or something? Fairly non-standard release strategy. ￥9,923 with amazon discount. Compared to ￥5,376 for Hibike and ￥5,789 for Yuri on Ice.

Even if it sells in the top ranks it still doesn't mean they'll continue it, they seem to have planned it in advance to be a "buy the manga its cool k bye" thing.

You don't write storyboards and lay groundwork in a week span.

Also the fact that this is what they went for and it will end on a weird note is what will prevent it for getting great sales so it's utterly pointless at this point to hope for the continuation.
