I don't understand the comparisons to FLCL at all. It's not nearly as over the top and the soundtrack isn't even close to being as good.

Just like what happened between Takeshi Honda and him. Honda left Dennou Coil because Iso demanded a lot from him (which then Toshiyuki Inoue take the workload).
