Op here, shit one dimensional characters who veer into melodrama consistently through the show. Now central plot-line holding the thing together which makes it a mess. The worst aspects of modern anime; waifu bait, forced comedy routines, jarring tonal shifts. Saying all that it was entertaining but I watched it the whole time thinking this is badly written fluff.

I am at ep 17 right now and Jesus Fuck.
Never in my life have I seen such an insufferable show.
The characters are all flat and completely illogical. All of the actions and decisions revolves around which one would bring in the forciest drama
And the MC, oh God, the MC!!!! He was literally the complete amalgamation of everything I hate about self-insert characters. He kept on trying to be funny, dense as fuck, and everything he learned from experienced are quickly forgotten right after the arc ends. And don't get me started on how he insists that he loves Emilia despite knowing her for less than a month, most of which were used for the purpose of saving his life, not hers.
That episode where he made a fool out of himself and Emilia was just plain unbearable to watch that I muted the scene and fast forward. And despite all my hoping that he would change and start becoming more logical, he never did.

The only thing good here is the plot...which is literally redundant. Yes, we get it, the good end can't be achieve by taking that route. But jesus christ, you do not have to restart the MC's personality at your leisure.
It took Homura just 3 resets to learn how to shut her mouth, Okabe 3 resets to know his enemies, Nobita 1 reset to undo his mistakes, but this guy never learned a single thing

The author just flat out discards all his experiences and treats it as nothing more than accessory for the bad ends then restart it all like a piece of shit story that it is

I seriously hope that this won't get any worse. I can feel my face melting with utter stupidity with every passing episode
