One of the best sports anime ever made, and Rikishi v. Joe is a god tier rivalry.
Manga is probably cool too.

I literally finished watching it 2 days ago. It's great, though it took me some time to get into it in the beginning.
Also knowing the ending (it's referenced fucking everywhere) kind of ruined it.

Haven't read the manga, but the two anime are my favourites. The tragedy got way too heavy handed at times in Ashita no Joe 2 but the character development and tone of both series are unrivalled.
