There's no such thing, and to begin with even the greatest class in the game, World Champion, can only be gained by winning a tournament on one of the 9 worlds beating countless players for the spot just so you can be eligible for it.

And the last World Champion who tried to abuse his class ended up turning into a World Class Enemy which basically made him a World Class Boss except when he dies he doesn't respawn and loses everything. I can guess that he didn't know, but once he went too far into the deep end it was too late so oh well.

How the hell can you predict such a complex game to 'take over everything'? It's the sheer overwhelming amount of known mechanics and stuff in the game that essentially makes it impossible to master, let alone exploit for long.

Take Enri's horn for example. She unleashed it's 'full' potential when using it against 5000 fuckers. Even the biggest raid on Nazarick only consisted of 1500 people, including mercenaries and NPCs. How would anyone discover it?

Even someone like Touch Me, who is part of essentially the richest guild in the game if we go by item level per player average, and can take the role of a fucking raid boss tank despite being a DPS, and someone who can take on 2 people on at the same time while not even Takemikazuchi can, and finally is someone who even Ainz never managed to beat in a duel despite Ainz himself being extremely confident in his PvP skills when fighting repeat opponents who he can think up of countermeasures for, is still only fucking #2 of all World Champions not to mention he's lost to the #3 World Champion as well.

He compensated for his lack of minmax with excellent skill usage and preparation--not to mention that his equipment was basically all top-of-the-line. It isn't like his friends were carrying him in all of his PvP battles.

Some of the skills he has see increased ability in the NW. Like Wish, which was generally considered in Ygg to be not worth picking up due to how wild-card it was. But in the NW it's basically a god-like ability, albeit at the cost at a lot of exp.

Almost all the skills/spells in Yggdrasil got upgraded in NW in some form. For Flight, he no longer needs to use one hand for a joy stick and can accelerate at much faster speeds. This alone would completely change the meta of how aerial combat works if you think about it. It's like the difference between manually piloting a Gundam with the shitty joy sticks and gas pedals versus a psycommu.

That's just one fucking spell. Yggdrasil -> NW changes a lot of the meta I'd reckon if you are talking about very close match ups, it's just that in Overlord there are no such close match ups on all fronts besides maybe Gazef vs Brain off screen. Not the poster you're replying to, but, if anything, I think Ainz's "genius" or "talent" is that he's a very good and natural leader (this is even lampshaded by his guild mates). He basically has all the qualities that a good leader needs, largely due to his personality (forged by the life circumstances that you mentioned) and the fact that he has a good eye for talent. Let's think about this from a D&D perspective, since the game seems to be closely based on that ruleset.

TGOALID would be a metamagic effect from a skill. It applies a 12 second delay to an instant death spell and removes its saving throw and spell resistance check. To use it, Ainz has to:
1. Activate it
2. Cast the instant death spell
3. Survive and keep the target within range for 12 seconds

This means an enemy can put pressure on Ainz between activating TGOALID and casting his instant death spell, and render it completely useless. Of course, Ainz isn't dumb enough to let that happen so let's assume he uses an instant cast cash item to cast his spell.

If Ainz does get his spell off, the opponent can either kill Ainz in 12 seconds or stay out of his LoS/range for 12 seconds. If the opponent has timestop/root/bind/hold countermeasures, there's nothing stopping them from just hiding behind a rock/corner or running away.

Take for example if he spawned without Nazarick, and just popped up in ST's capital city. Do you think he'd be in a leader position? No way, he'd be paranoid and cautious trying to figure shit out even if he had to work under the Theocracy for awhile and he'd be okay with it.

He's in a leader position because he was thrust into it, both Yggdrasil and NW. His 'talent' of lacking needs and greed makes it very difficult for himself to initialize leadership without an outside factor to influence him. That's not to say he isn't good at it, but it's not natural.

To begin with, his guild mates basically made him a bookie and helped him out. They know he doesn't make choices, that he's basically no different than a robot when it comes to making guild decisions. That's why they got really surprised when he was stubborn enough to wanna conquer Nazarick, cause it was so fucking out of character and they initially couldn't see the reason for it.

But he only got put in that spot cause everyone was close and they knew him. That alone means for him to be a leader requires those immediately under him to be supportive and loyal to him, but until Touch Me fucked up everyone was fine with Momonga not being the leader.

That's my interpretation of it. He has a niche knack for leadership, which mainly stems from his ability to cultivate good will through being so accommodating.

Although I will say that being a natural at something isn't necessarily indicative of someone being in that position. For example, you can be a naturally good pianist, but how would you know unless you were put in that position? And it isn't like talented people don't read up/research whatever field they're in.
