G-reco was a 50 episode series with all the factions and characters that comes with it squashed to a 2 cour show.

Delta, well it's second half at least, felt like a 2 hour movie stretched to a whole cour.

If anything, Delta is the Phantasy Star Online of mecha series.

Macross Delta is the AGE of Gundam.

Bellri is also a better character than all of Delta's cast.

Not quite, the 1st and 2nd arcs of AGE was decent and enjoyable. It was the 3rd arc that killed the series.
