Long story short, this guy named Daemon with the japanese Frieza voice kidnapped the girl, whose name is Urara, and brought her in Japan. She, I guess, escaped from him, and met Jun this way. It's basically a small story with barely any interaction except Jun acting like a big brother, which is funny when you know he's clearly a lolicon, so his actions look more suspicious than anything else.

In the end, they managed to beat and capture the kidnappers thanks to many of the Samurai girls (that robot you saw before posted is anticlimaticaly defeated by Yukie in an instant). Urara returns to her country, and after some months they met again, in that CG you saw before.

Unlike the Shakadou game, I don't see any joke stuff nor romantic situation here. It's basically a story in which Jun mets a girl, and because of things end up coming closer to family, with Jun being the big brother and Urara being the little sister. You can easily classify it as canon, unlike the Shakadou one which was hard to even consider (aside for the fact that it was an April's Fool release).

Btw, this guy namely Daemon is insanely strong. Before they fight him as kidnapper, he duels Momoyo, and it's clearly hinted he becomes a serious challenge for her (though it's implied Momoyo won). The only reason Jun and Koyuki win against him is because before that, apart from being still exhausted from the duel against Momoyo, he fought against Margit, he took several surprise attack from Urara, Jun and Koyuki one time and his robot costume was destroyed while he was inside which probably made him take damage even though he escaped. Without that happening before, Jun wouldn't have been able to even defeat him.

And after playing this game, I really hope one day they make a version with Yamato being voiced (except sex scenes if it's an R-18 version). I personally think this voice fits him well.

Yeah, though this is something people doesn't know, but before he voiced in the anime, he voiced the drama CDs. And his voice fits so well in them.

In fact, I highly recommend people to at least reach a level of Japanese in which you can barely understand what happens in those drama CDs. Many times the game and even manga makes reference to them, specially the game. Remember the race in the manga in which Koyuki and Kokoro run against Kazuko and Chris. This entire chapter was was exactly the same as one of the chatpers in the drama CDs. The brainbuster Koyuki uses on Kokoro also appeared in the drama CD.

Well, as a Majikoi fan, you need to have really low standarts to enjoy it honestly. It was crap, with only the Miyako segments actually being faithful to the whole series. And guess what, one of the most important things in the series, ALL THE CHARACTERS, is left aside, turning even the male part of the Kazama family into extras (and even Yamato gets affected by it for some time) in order to have an anime that overuses cliches like it's nothing, starting with the typical harem thing of all girls losing personality because they want MC dick.

Only the first episode, the Miyako segments and the dick festival where worth watching. That means a total of two episodes and enough segments to form a third one. Three episodes for how long the anime lasted is obviously too little to consider worth watching. If the horrible animation quality has already turned you away. This anime was obviously given a low budget, which is a terrible idea, because an anime is one of the best ways to promote your work.

I disagree. I liked Yamato's interactions with the Prime Minster, and think it helped add a decent amount of character to Yamato, his dad and the Prime Minster.

The speech he gave Chris when he caught her naked is easily one of my most favorite anime speeches of all time. And the whole Kokoro/Yamato episode was pretty top notch. And it had the perfect ending.

I think there were a decent number of good scenes in the anime. It just got too serious mid-way through and which feels out of character for Majikoi.

Still, I think once you account for the shit in the second half of the anime, there's some real gems in the first half.

The argument Yamato had with the prime minister made no sense. Specially if you played the games. This is a topic that was a lot discussed back then, and I believe a lot of us agreed to the fact it made no sense, so no wall of text again.

The speech with Chris would have been perfect, if the whole scene hadn't happened in the bathroom, with Yamato staying in the same angle all the time (and with that I mean the camera, who gave an easy excuse to only animate the faces). And the first half of the scene is just more harem cliche antics. And all the scene just for that little mention at the last part? No thanks. Kokoro/Yamato scene was regular. Not bad, but if they had taken it from the anime, I wouldn't have missed anything.

Want another example of how poorly made this anime was? I got a friend to watching. After two episodes, he was asking me everything about the characters or the setting of the whole world, because apart from a minority of things, nothing else was introduced. And before you come up with the line of "fans only", there are many instances that disregard the settings of the Majikoi series in order to give more cliche things. And the cliches. The cliches. It's like they could only use ideas for episodes by relying on cliches. Which is another good sign of low effort. I would also like to remark they pulled the crap of making the first episode good and with a lot of effort, then just completely forget about the effort and try to keep the game inside that low budget we have.

You know what's funny, and I always like to comment? When Takae appeared in Majikoi S, the difference between the anime and game was so brutal that she ended up getting a route, which I'm not surprised because she was not likeable at all. They made sure to properly remove any connections she had in the anime with Majikoi A-5. I'm pretty sure Minato Soft is aware that it was a failure at attracting more fans.

I think the worst part of all is the fact that there's nothing in that anime that makes me watch it again. Nothing. I would have to strap myself in order to not close the video. It's not too bad depending on what you're looking for/know that you want it and such. The compilation for the A series will be coming out at some point at the end of the year or into next year, but I think it's worth it due to how much I enjoy the series in general.
