Hate to break it to you, but... what you see is an embodiment of Japanese young working adult.

She's nearly 19 now with about 10 months of work experience under her belt, and relies completely on her employer to provide training to make herself useful.

That doesn't weigh against her, as she's working in the technology sector, where there's significant limit to what you can learn in any type of school.

As most young adults in her age bracket, she can be immature from time to time, but it's presented as an endearing trait rather than a flaw.

Being asian, she's looking at some 40 years of being taken for a child, mostly by gullible westerners who are prone to oversimplify things by thinking along the lines of "if it barks and has fur, it must be a dog" - often to their doom, which was proven by an amerifat policeman who shot a deaf-mute for 'waving hands too much in a threatening manner'. His biased, simplistic mentality completely displaced the possibility of sign language communication.
