Also did Free break the Kyoani curse? If I'm not mistaken it has 3 seasons and a movie. And not like Haruhi's 3 seasons either. Actual 3, in studio, seasons.

I agree, for a show that's supposed to be mostly fanservice for the showing as much male body on screen as possible, they really fucked it up. Their bodies look like crap, there's no illusion of muscle curve at all. They're completely flat, bunch shaky of lines.

Even fanartists draw their bodies better. And that's not saying KyoAni can't, it was probably a design choice (one that I fail to understand), Even if they were trying to get as close as possible to 3D swimmers' bodies, which are usually thinner, that doesn't mean their pecs and abs shouldn't have any muscle definition.
