The brother in the movie also dressed pretty stylishly.

The only things that set it apart from other completely generic shows are the animation and soundtrack.

It would have been better without that whiplash ending, too.

I thought the movie would explain the whiplash ending, but it only further cemented the show as generic shit with a golden sheen.
