It really should never have kept going but it did and it just kept running itself further and further into the ground.
It went from good show to mediocre show because of the second half and then season 2 was some bullshit star wars awfulness and there's even movies and it makes no sense that they kept doing this.

Is this b8? No it's not my first anime. The first half of season 1 was the greatest thing I've ever seen, Kirito x Asuna is the greatest pair in all of anime, and the scene in the hospital when Asuna woke up and Kirito was there and they kissed for the first time in the real world and the scene where SAO is being deleted and they're hugging each other at the last moment made me cry.
