If it's any consolation, the last arc is 26 episodes, so it's pretty well-paced, but they slacked on the budget, which sucks because it's the only action in the show that they can't hide the lack of choreography behind card-game mechanics. Also, a lot of OC that really ruins it.

You have no idea. We got a human and t-rex preserved in a rocksalt layer. They revived the human and named him Pickle. Pickle would only eat 'strong opponents' since he fought dinosaurs most of his life. So a in the insane logic all the fighters in the series have, everyone wanted to fight Pickle and see prehistoric power for themselves. One guy lost an arm (he punched so fast his arm mostly exploded and then Pickle ate it) and the other got his leg eaten. Then the main character Baki decided to fight Pickle. Baki was stronk enough that Pickle decided to transform by doing horrible things to his joints. Baki lost, technically, but no part of him was eaten because Pickle freaked the fuck out and threw Baki away during a "Lets just beat each others faces in" contest.

Then, in the newest part of Baki and the what is wrong with these people, they revive Miyamoto Musashi. By cloning him and bringing his spirit back from wherever the dead go.


tl;dr Baki is a trainwreck and a character sucking their nuts into their body is normal.

Jitsu wa Watashi wa's art changed a lot in a short time. If you read chapter 1 or 2 and then read chapter 10, the style is already starting to look a lot different and more comparable to how it is later. Most notably being that Asahi doesn't have a horse face anymore and doesn't look like he's balding.

I actually do prefer the art around chapter 10 too, it was in-between the two styles.

Not a very good comparison. Araki's style is always changing, for better or worse. Kumeta had a generic period style like most mangaka do when they're starting, reached a comfort zone and hasn't left it for years.
