I think Millennium Falcon on Guts' side was just as good as Conviction. Every character got good development, everyone had something to do, and all the time spent in Vritanis was excellent. If anything I think that Griffith's parts were the weakest because literally everything was going Griffith's way. I know it was fate and all suppose to happen like that but it was still kind of annoying. The best part of Griffith's side of the story was the lesser characters interacting.
