The major problem with all of it that they already screwed up as many opportunities with all the interaction whenever it's needed but was downright scrapped for nostalgia and for an overuse arc for diehard 5D'S/Synchro fans.

I have discovered that Descend Dragon Magician's effect does in fact stack.

I used two to summon OERD and attacked a dragon-type, and Rebellion's ATK quadrupled.

Obviously it's unlikely that you'll use multiple copies to summon one monster, but it was an interesting discovery to make.
