Hes been manipulating everybody, the higashikatas, his son, the rokkakaka trade. He fucking rises off the floor as a shadow when hes introduced, and has some of the most memorable opening panels of any jojo character period. Everybody loves him, hes the reason why everything goes well, but as shown in battle tendency he seems like hes ready to snap at any moment.

That and speed king looks like a main villain stand, is introduced like a main villain stand, and has an odd power that can be asspulled by araki to maximum lengths in the future.

And above all that, hes intimidating as fuck.

The cat skull was menacing as all hell and was a very neat effect with how it quickly switched back to KQ's blank expression too. And yeah no one's gonna argue against his introduction being terrible but they more than made up for it with how actually terrifying Killer Queen was in the next episode, the explosion effect on Shigechi was fucking horrible to watch because of how painful it looked. The introduction will most likely be fixed in the BD's too since they redid that scene in the episode right after it.

Either next week or 2 weeks. Atom Heart Father will fit into 1 episode pretty well on it's own due to 5 chapters, but adding Kira's New Life 1 will fuck the pacing since 6 chapters in 1 episode is always bad.
So I assume that RPS Kid will be a 2 parter, but RPS Kid 1 will start with Kira's New Life 1, and RPS Kid 2 will end with Kira's New Life 2.
This way we get a nice 4/4 chapter split and don't end up with a rushed RPS Kid fight.

Similarly, I am an Alien may be a 2 parter, since that arc bleeds into the first chapter of Highway Star. Highway Star will probably only have 1 episode because they can just shove everything up to this page in I am an Alien 2, and the arc is mostly action and not dialogue, meaning minimal cuts.

Araki's style, while visually distinct an unique is not as uniquely kinetic as Miura's with the motion blur and sequential paneling (Araki is a great fight artist, but Miura is possibly the GOAT in the history of sequential art) nor does his style NEED to be in black and white. Any color adaptation of Berserk will always fail because the deep blacks and stark whites are crucial to the beauty of Berserk.
JoJo also is very cinematic in a way Berserk is not, JoJo uses the long posing shots and whacky visuals, while Berserk's most cinematic elements are the previously mentioned fights, which are difficult to adapt. Berserk is almost better suited for live action, I think real actors could do the non fights better, and stuff like Pacific Rim, Watchmen and Man of Steel has proved that CGI is there for those kind of fights.

Really? I'd argue only CNBT is lacking in interesting details, Chase arguably has the most stuff packed into it. From the symbolism of Kira all throughout the OP, the sneaky additions of characters in the group photo as the episodes go on, the really nice and subtly disguised details such as Kira's victims in the fingernail reflection and Koichi's gutpunch-pose silhouette with Act 3's scene are really damn good. There's also the Bowie-Kira to Awakened Kosaku transition at the end of the OP that was done brilliantly.

Not only is the OP filled with great subtle symbolism and foreshadowing but it's stylish as fuck, it has many great-looking bits all throughout it, even rivaling the CGI OPs in terms of stylish visuals.

If anything I'd argue most of the CGI OPs are just as you described, literally cool guys with cool poses, nothing wrong with that though.

This, compare it to Starbomb in Yu Yu Hakusho. It's a fun little OP that fits the time the part's set in and the SoL-feel of part 4 really well.

Also, Chase may sound meh on it's own but I'd argue in terms of complimenting an OP's visuals itself it works amazing, also the lyrics are great too with the open interpretation that they both represent Josuke or Kira's intentions and thoughts.

That's why it's a bit mediocre to me, countless other studios have done this before with their happy go lucky shonen anime shows, but the Opening didn't have to be a cut and dry stereotype.
It could've been sung with just as much cheerful melodic intensity as the Yu Yu Hakusho opening.
Having emotional and vocal intensity is never a bad thing, if CNBT was instrumental I'd actually probably like it a lot more than I do now.
