The Dragon Ball anime was great. DBZ was meh, good moments but everything takes forever.

The manga isn't that good besides of its art. The story is a total mess with tons of inconsitencies and plot holes. worst is when you progress through the story 3/4 of the cast becomes irrelevant. Most people are just blinded by nostalgia. Just llike all these dragonball super lovers

People like Frieza saga because it takes place on an alien planet, has the greatest villain, Frieza himself, and the second best villain, Zarbon.

It was still incredibly boring with a filler rate of 10:1, but it was imaginative.

Actually, to be honest, I tried to watch K-ON. I watched a few episodes and just didn't get it. It was just a group of girls who wanted to form a band and nothing really happened at all.
Same with other stuff I tried to watch recommended from here, like Watamote, Lucky Star, Umaru... I didn't like any of these.
