I kind of see their relationship as a dark parallel to Ichigo and Orihime's. Instead of just wanting to keep his beloved safe from harm, Gin went an extra mile nobody wanted him to take and planned this long, complicated scheme that involved despicable things just to take revenge on Aizen for hurting Rangiku. I think that's everyone that was actually present in the final phase of the final arc. Y, Y-R, R, Q, O, and J all died in the process of the first attack. That only leaves Meninas, The Power, as a survivor.

It's also not clear what happened to the Wahrwelt considering we skipped right from Yhwach cut in half to the 10 years later. If the whole shadow realm thing just up and vanished then it would've taken the castle Silbern with it, and Tier was in the basement. If no one other than the quincy knew how to get between there and soul society, she's stuck.

1) It was Yhwach they were fighting, as far as any quibbles on purely theoretical survivability go, if he wanted them dead they died, it doesn't matter what it "looked" like, we know he had the means and they had zero viable defenses, and nothing we saw or were told suggested he'd have reason to have left them alive. There's really no room for argument on that.

2)No, Nel confirmed that there were 4 life signs (Urahara, Grimmjow, Yoruichi, and Yuushiro) which explicitly leaves out Askin. Also Askin himself made a point of saying the specific final attack he was making was triggered by his own death.

3) The fact that there are no longer birds suggests he was dealt with in some capacity, but again we've no idea what.

4) We watched Bambietta specifically lose function "dead" or not. Also Gigi is dead.

5) Literally nothing to even begin suggesting let alone corroborating that. We saw 8 confirmed simultaneous pillars of light during the first auschwalen. We saw 1 hit N(1), 1 missed Z and G each(3), 1 hit U(4), one half struck H(5), and T had been struck down the same way N and U had(and survived) so 1 presumably got her(6), 1 for Bambietta(7), and 1 for P who we knew was still alive(8).

1) Yhwach is extremly arrogant and wouldn't really care. From his perspective they are ants Whether they live or die, it doesn't matter for him.He was more concerned about his sleep. He also left Orihime alive and didn't prevent Ichibee from coming back, even though her knew about their abilities and also left that portal open. Also how would that prevent Orihime from healing them?


2) Yuushiro wasn't inside the Giftball. He was last seen far outside of it on the center platform in front of the castle. We know that because Askin was almost hit by the debris from the fight of Chad against the statues. The Giftball itself was activated in the middle of the road leading to the center platform. Yuushiro can't be inside the Giftball and the Giftball started intensifying while Askin was still talking.

3) Or Lille simply escaped because Yhwach already destroyed the Seretei. Could also be possible. I doubt anyone would be able to keep track of all the birds.

4) Giselle told Bambietta, while hugging her after the Auswahlen, that she can't die, because Giselle won't die. And Giselle's death is also questionable. Just because it's Yhwach, isn't an excuse.

5) Bambietta wasn't hit. Giselle killed her after the fight against Komamura, which made her lose the connection to Yhwach. We also would have seen the light, since Liltotto and Giselle were just a few meters away and also tried to escape in that way. It would be pretty stupid for someone as Liltotto to escape from the light to the light. And someone has to be responsible for the statues.

Of all the atrocities Kubo committed, this is what you focused on? No wonder Bleach wasn't cut after SS and dragged on this long.

This scene specifically shows that Harribel, the face of Hueco Mundo, was completely defeated. Nothing beyond this matters. Her role in the plot ends here. Whether she lives or dies, it doesn't affect the narrative.

The real crime Kubo did here was believing this meant something. I mean, ruh-roh! Harribel was defeated by the bad guys? Maybe I'd care if she hadn't been reduced to fodder in the previous arc! Harribel being disposed of without even getting to put up a fight last arc already ruined whatever credibility she had. Thus, the dramatic impact this scene was supposed to carry was wasted.

He didn't. Yhwach only takes his soul pieces back. Every Sternritter without a Vollständig would be ignored. The normal Quincy would always be sparred, as otherwise Ryuken would also have been targeted. By the time Yhwach initiated only three Quincy had still Volldtändig: Haschwalth, Gerard and Askin. Everyone else was either dead or already had lost Vollständig.

Also the Quincy survive the Auswahlen as often as they die because of them.

The thing is that Kubo build up the plot that they are going to save her, yet that plot line goes nowhere and was cut short and dragged, they spend chapters to fight just one guy(the one with glasses)
and then just leave. This has been a problem of bleach and kubo, his is vary good at characters design and bring out the interesting personality of the characters,but not really good with the plot.
Is not that Kubo doesn't know how to write,he actually wrote some vary emotional sence and romance sence.
His problem is that there he try too much to show what's going with supporting characters because they are all like star and sometimes even more interesting than the main characters,yet at the same time not giving them enough times. This lead to the bad results of many unfinished plot line that were just left unsolved, in short, he has too many thought that he doesn't have enough space to fit in the manga.
