But the reason I think the mindhacking has merit is because of a few factors about Ruruka, Guzo and Chisa's body:

- Chisa and Guzo were suspended
This makes me think that the attacker requires either a clearly phenomenal strength to pull this off because of Guzo, or that the victims were "willing".
- Ruruka's body being completely savaged and as well as the tears on her face, which imply her being awake during it. You'll also note that the cloth beneath her finger tips match the color of her own shirt, which is also ripped. That alone makes me think that her wounds were self inflicted and she thrashed herself.

I'm not sure why only Ruruka would brutalize herself unlike Gozu and Chisa, but if I had to guess it would be her inner guilt of killing Yaoi and for all the shit she pulled on Braces.

Did I miss something or are this numbers wrong? There are only 4 remaining and this chapter only died 4 if we count the robot, are they counting weedman or perhaps a hidden character?

I have a feeling that if they're not saving this for the last episode of despair then we'll see it next week. It'll give them a reason to draw out Kyouko's survival or death and then the last two episodes can easily wrap up the remaining plot. Munakata and Makoto will clash, and then the last episode will show the big reveals and the mastermind being defeated. Then despair's special could be an epilogue.

If not, then the last 3 episodes of Future will be dragged in some manner and we'll see what's going on on Jabberwock for despair's special, to close off the DR2 characters' story.

Now the question is why did the mastermind decide to use the fourth time limit?
