Before Mirai-hen Junko and Yasuke found another person to replace her again and killed her to start off Mirai

Junko and Yasuke use the same process used for making Izuru to give Chisa the Analyst talent to let her take Junko's place
Ryoko is actually a temporary byproduct to have Junko's personality implanted and Chisa's being destroyed like Hajime's was, and since they're not just implanting a talent but a whole personality unlike with Izuru it's necessary to have this temporary phase where the old personality is crushed as the new one slowly takes place

Hm, the franchise was fucking great, the anime shows 2 episodes a week: one is guareenteed good plot, the other one gives the fanbase what they want... the threads give good memes every other day (maybe every 3 days?). Yea it's pretty good. I'm damned excited

It's not mediocre... it's above average at best. Fact is, the anime gives us exactly what we want and we are jumping for joy every episode. It's definitely not a bad anime if you follow the franchise. It's only 'ok' if you don't follow the games.

Not me. It's entertaining for what it is but also doesn't explore any of the interesting stuff in much detail, the writing across both halves gets increasingly sloppy with each week and almost every single main character is unlikeable.

Works as a weird advertisement for V3 actually, I am absolutely down for a reboot now.
