Is he right?
My grandma said the same thing to me before she died

>person is willing to help
>get helped
>somehow this is bad
????
>>146707021
No, I actually accept help for myself for other people's sakes. RRRRRRagi is quite the philosopher, I can tell.

10/10 writing.
NisiOisiN does it again

No. Araragi himself accepted a rotten pile of help for Hachikuji's sake later.

Depends what the help entails.
Araragi is a fucked up emo kid who thinks that if anyone helps him, they will be hurt as a result. This isn't helped by Meme's idea that you can only help yourself. Araragi has actively tried to die on multiple occasions so as not to be a burden on others.

Who would have thought Araragi would be a realist at heart. He's right.
>>146708242
Nobody is saying it's a bad thing.

>General quote
>not understanding context and thinking he's always talking about life in general all the time, not the part where hanekawa was at fault and how his reliance on shinobu was a factor.
>>146708242
For Hanekawa it was. Her reliance on Araragi was entirely selfish because of her scenario. She saw him as the prince to save her from her situation, which added to her stress.
I don't really see the point of these monogatari threads. It's like a circle jerk of people who didn't get the first level of context within the show saying "hurr durr how prentious".
Every time this happens it's not a direct commentary on life, but of the scenario. Stupid anons keep missing this factor and the circlejerk continues.
