Deku is forced to retreat after other schools arrived at his location and he is in the worst possible situation
While retreating he sees Ochako
Ochako: "Here!"
Deku in his thoughts: "Uraraka, you..."
The other schools heared Ochako and came, too
Ochako's cliff is crumbling and she falls down
Deku in his thoughts: "That time, i chose to fight and broke my body. If i didn't i could have reached Kacchan, could have saved him and All Might wouldn't have to fight All For One. Deku's new shoe released a strong shock and his speed is much faster
There is still a backlash, but it doesn't break his bones and Deku can catch Ochako
Deku and Ochako are hiding from the other schools
While Deku watches the situation Ochako takes a ball and tries to hit Deku's target
Deku stops her

Well you can believe what you want, information is rather limited but from what i can tell hori is trying to show us early on what can and cant happen in his world regarding quirks through a bunch of models in the characters we've seen so far.
So far what i've noticed:
You can have a quirk that only changes your appearance statically: Ojiro, Tsuyu
You can have a quirk that only changes your appearance dynamically: Shouji
You can have a quirk that's related to physical mutation: Habuko, Grapes to a degree
You can have a quirk that's completely unrelated to a physical mutation: Tokoyami, Kouda
You can inherit your quirk from one or both of your parents: Tokoyami, Tsuyu
You can gain a quirk that neither of your parent have: Jirou, Ochako and perhaps bakugou
You can be born without a quirk despite both your parents having one: Midoriya of course.

It seems pretty well defined so far to me but maybe i'm looking into things too much.
