I read the first novel the other day.
I am surprised that this is the book that spawned a hundred of episodes. The only good thing I can say about it is that Lina is a very entertaining narrator. The plot, the flow of events are fanfiction-tier and asspulls are jarring. The anime series were a major improvement. On the other hand, the book does a good job of raising your self-confidence if you want to write your own shit.
