It's not the face itself that looks bad, it's the angle it's at. The way she's turning her head just looks really unnatural, her arm looks really weird too. Gk anons, I need some acrylic paint recommendations for airbrushing. There are just way too many options out there and I'm getting overwhelmed. I used some tamiya paints, but at the rate I go through white it doesn't seem cost effective.

Tamiya's the gold standard, pretty much.

Personally, I use vallejo. I speak Spanish and am colorblind so the color guides are usable and helpful, especially for military uniforms and armor. Plus there are a few hobby shops nearby that stock vallejo and not tamiya. thewarstore is where I order them from online.

Despite the 90s looking website, they're legit and trustworthy. At 1.5$ per Tamiya acrylic (or a whopping 2.4$ for the 23ml ones), it should be cost effective no matter how much you use.

The downside is that paint is considered hazardous material so you can't ship it by air, and boat will take 3-6 months. But if you plan ahead that shouldn't be a huge problem, and you can afford to buy spares you're not sure you need since they likely cost half as much as your local shops (or even less).

SAL varies a lot. The wait time is listed as 2 - 5 weeks. I've ordered through rSAL for one of my two figures and got it in 2 weeks flat - I was pretty happy with the speed. However, I live in Canada and it may take longer for Brazil.
As for pre-order items, it depends on the site. Usually you place a hold on the item, and once the store gets the item in stock they bill you the money, and once you've paid they mail it to you.
Most stores don't technically allow cancelations, but if you email them or just flat out don't pay, they obviously can't do anything about that and won't ship the figure to you. Beware of doing this though, as you could get blacklisted from their store.
