Hey, new 3x3 thread.
Hello friends. I've got to get up in the morning so if this thread survives I'll reply to any posts.

Do you ever feel bad about bumping series out of your top? There are shows that were my favorite for a long time but I've set my mind on different things now and those series no longer inspire me.
Recently watched Stay 2005.
Beautiful movie. I rewatched it over and over and I love it.

I do. I feel like shit and keep doubting myself, especially when it's a nostalgic love. I'm stuck between adding things that I love for how much they impact me, how perfectly enjoyable a work is and how much I nostalgically love it.

7/8 Zankyou no Terror was a huge disappointment for me. The ending was probably one of the worst endings I have ever seen, I'm not very sure about that right now, but it gets close. When Five appeared everything went down hill, kind of like Tanaka-kun after the first episode, but it was still watchable. Not even the super excellent music could save this anime for that ending.

Yeah, I saw his video analysis, went to watch the movie before watching his analysis and kept rewatching it over and over. Honestly one of the best movies I've ever watched.
One of the things about film that I love is that you keep asking yourself ''would such a story have been better if you just read it'' and for this movie, the visuals, the editing, the weird stylized angles all made sense and it was beautiful.

>Kiki's Delivery Service
I recently rewatched this and I know a good portion of this is due to nostalgia but I really do love that movie. It was my first "inspiration." I immediately grabbed Spirited Away when I learned it was by the same guy but oddly enough I didn't feel as impressed by it. I plan on rewatching it though, maybe my 11 year old self just wasn't in the right mindset for it yet? I remember it being visually striking (but that's the usual for Ghibli.)
Kaguya-hime is incredible and Eve no Jikan is pretty cool as well. Borges has a hell of an imagination. I'd watch anime with you, anon.

I love movies, but nothing can replace a good book. Of course, a very good director can make a beautiful visual work of art based only in a meh book, movies can be art by itself, but with a good book you can imagine the ideal view of the world you are reading in that moment based in your own imagination without any type of rush or worry. You can read a chapter ten times before pass to other while imagine how the story is going to move next. It's like a game that never gets boring. Watching a movie is like waching inside the mind of a person, it is interesting yes, and you can learn a lot, but nothing can beat your own world. I'm tired.

I want to make babies with you anon
Just made this, it was pretty fun picking out all the pretty pictures. I debating on putting HxH, but I went with Jintai instead. '99 is consistently good but CA is my favorite arc by far. Meanwhile 2011 has long stretches of boring in the early segments. The hunter exam and tournament arc were subpar, bordering on bad at times.
