Are we finally leaving this god forsaken school?
Staying there isn't going to cure Shovel, after all.
Gets bit just like in the anime, but the "cure" isn't permanent.
She's been slowly zombifying since then.
The college kids are staying to talk things out with the batshit crazy thugs. The main gang just found out Kurumi is missing and are deciding what to do.
Rii wants to stay for muh sister. Yuki is finally figuring out what Kurumi has been going through. Miki is wondering how she got stuck babysitting these retards.
They really should just let her die already.
Ain't nothing wrong with giving Walnut a nickname.
His death was his own fault. He could clearly see she was (still) human but he had to satisfy his bloodlust and kept chasing this innocent schoolgirl with the intent to kill her dead.
>she was (still) human
So all the collage kids are going to die then. I kind of hoped the glasses one would get out alive and join the group. Its just going to end up with the four of them alone again and this whole college thing was a big waste of time.
Yep. Does that look like a mindless zombie to you?
And the chapter before this she didn't think twice about abandoning Miki with the biker titty ninja holding a screwdriver to her neck, but then gets triggered beyond all hell when they touch her teddy bear.
She's the worst.
Soon, Kurumi will take care of her for good.
And then we'll get our happy ending.
Do not say this, they're perfect for each other.
Pretty disappointing chapter, nothing happened.
She is the most attractive girl though.
Yuki's been one of the more sane girls since they left the school.
Are tits the only thing that matter to you?
Damn it, not much this time around, time to wait another month. I understand that someone who's just reading through this a year from now will have no problem with the pacing, hell I don't really either, it'd suck if everything was over compressed and episodic. It's tough when you're really waiting to see a bunch of threads finally come together and some new world reveals to chew on and know it'll take until winter though.
but too good for this cruel world, Kurumi isn't going to make it.
She WILL make it. We just have to believe!
Believe with our entire heart!
So, Kogami got infected despite not went outside and there's no zombie inside the campus except the 'grave'
Can we assume that there's actually a carrier of the virus in the group or Sayaka do something shady bullshit?
Yuki will be the only one to make it. She'll end up as the perfect immune carrier and go utterly off the deep end.
I hope Engineer girl doesn't die. Also, fuck Rii. Ever since muh imouto "showed up", she's been a burden to the group.
Isn't the virus sexually transmissible? Maybe that's how he got it.
>there were people who doubted this OTP
I bet you feel foolish now.
>Isn't the virus sexually transmissible? Maybe that's how he got it.
Probably. But if that's true, Sino is confirmed as a carrier
Unless it's revealed that Kogami secretly rape / fucking Kurumi at night
I'm still assuming it won't work out but they sure are feeding it pretty persistently. I've been rereading it since I'd forgotten about some of what went on in the earlier chapters and I'd forgotten about scene related too. Damn yuki.
How can anyone doubt this? It's perfection itself.
Do wish they got more lewds together
The artist wills it. By the way has anyone scanned the tank cover yet?
Yuuri's not bad, just partly insane. Stepford smile shit, she does a way better job of covering it up and suppressing it to some extent early on but she's by far the most broken inside of the four and her outbreaks don't go in a positive way when the stress gets to be too much.
No she didn't. He went out of his way to try to murder her (and whatever her exact metabolic status, she's got her human mind so that really is murder). Her first response was to try to escape. He pursued. Then she STILL didn't fight back, she just made noise and attracted another threat, and then again made her escape. Failing to risk yourself and go out of your way to save someone who tried to kill you repeatedly doesn't make you a murderer. She had done nothing wrong, his group was off in its own safe area anyway. Dude could have just backed off and it would have been fine. Don't try to kill little girls in a zombie apocalypse if you aren't prepared to get killed back.
I know you're just funposting, still:
>being so retarded you think a vaccinated is the same thing as regular infected (who turn within hours)
>being so retarded you don't try non-violent routes to get them to peacefully leave first (even if they turn elsewhere it's fine) in a world where even minimal bloodshed runs the risk of ruining everything
>actively going after someone clearly in complete control who's trying to escape
>going off on your own with zero support
>engaging in a tactically terrible location
Dude was a retarded murderer on literally every level no matter how you slice it. He tried to kill her, outside, he got killed by zombies instead, the end.
So I noticed they aren't using suffixes anymore, is that just the scanlators taking liberty with the translation? If so for what purpose.
Did she really had a little sister and is going crazy for a mix of stress and forgetting about her, or just a complete imaginary friend with no basis on someone real like megu-nee was?
I don't mind slipping into an ice pack regardless
The fanservice (and lewds) were really the best thing to come from the anime.
Because the new TL isn't the old one. The new one is Jap->Korean-> English and the TL routinely mistranslates and uses confusing grammar. It's gotten marginally better lately at least.
That explains a lot about why I've had so much trouble following what was going on recently, like this page for instance.
Of course it's an edit.
You take off her bandages so you can fully feel every inch of her body.
What the hell did they even go to the university for again? Wasn't it to try and find some research on the cure?
Does that mean they're going to go to that facility next? I wouldn't be surprised if that was where Kurumi was going, considering their original purpose was to find like, a complete cure for her.
How many do you need? I have a bunch.
>Rii thinks the bear is kill
>goes insane wearing the bears head as a mask
>clears whole university
>squad joins in, Kurumi tiger, Miki zebra, Yuki and Megune swans
At this point and at this pace, I dont care
Kurumi likes males. My self insert as senpai is indication of this.
I feel like this counts as proof of YukixKurumi as well.
I feel Yuki doesn't "pair" with anyone. She just genuinely cares about those in the club, and right now Kurumi is in the most dire situation thus Yuki's fixation on her. Yuki already knew Kkurumi was having a tough time from her little monologue in chapter 46, but upon seeing the handcuffs she's realizes that Kurumi needs more help than Rii right now.
Miki has been try to be the emotional pillar of the group since graduation, but she lacks tthe coonfidence to do so.
Yuki on the other hand, while still suffering from (or perhaps benefiting from) her Megu-nee delusions, is the one who really strive to an succeeds in keeping the group together.
I haven't been a huge fan of this arc, but now that Ruu has FINALLY been revealed as a delusion and the other groups plan to pin crossbow's murder on the club is falling apart, I feel like this arc is picking up pretty nicely. Still think the "scientist" that spoke to Miki a few chapters ago was a bullshit one-off though.
I really don't want Kurumi to die but her becoming a super human zombie would probably suck too. Will Rii kill Kurumi or will Kurumi shoot herself with the gun in her pocket?
Also, Miki will be the sole survivor not Yuki.
I don't think there ever will be.
Well here's half of it.
And unless Chiba releases an artbook I doubt we'll get many of the unscanned art in high quality.
Don't you mean Yuki? Look at that sexy little lip pout it's a fucking miracle the other Gurashis haven't raped that slutty minx yet goddamn.
She just is.
I honestly thought she'd have more fans by now but I guess everyone is still busy circlejerking over shovel
>Also, Miki will be the sole survivor not Yuki.
Now that you mention it, that does seem rather likely. If only ONE of them makes it to the end it will probably be Miki. But Im still hopeful that all 4 will make it.
I really want Kurumi to make it, even if she does become a super zombie or something
I also like all 4 girls (even Rii who's breaking down now) and hope they all survive but I don't think thats the likely ending. Miki wasn't part of the original group and is usually the one who finds the new suspicious stuff. Maybe Yuki dies sacrificing herself for Miki like a good senpai.
Yuuri dying would work out just fine, but the others have good chances of survival.
Even Shovel, who I expect to survive until at least the last 5 chapters.
Miki will survive because surviving is her thing. Out of all of them, she's the one who always keeps her head and works towards a clear, realistic goal.
She's already the sole survivor of the mall group and she's the most aware of the mindsets of her companions. If anyone makes it out alive, it'll be her.
She's basically become one with the shovel.
I really like how in the anime Miki mentions how hard it was to take down a zombie like Kurumi always does. Iirc, Miki and Yuki have only killed zombies that were already on the ground crawling.
Only time she didn't keep her head was when she took the big risk and left her room in the mall. Yuki and Miki drive off to sunset end.
So, Yuki's doesn't have any delusions anymore, right? She's just kinda faking for everyone else's sake? I feel like the story is implying both and I'm not positive what I'm supposed to assume.
Wow, so deep.
It was a risk, but it was one she had to take to survive long term. Locking yourself away in a room only works until you run out of food and breaking out to start wandering aimlessly is a one way ticket to becoming zombie food. A rescue party was a once in a lifetime opportunity that she had to go for.
Miki will take risks, like going out to the helicopter and taking on Megu-nee, but she does it for a worthwhile purpose instead of insanity.
Remember when she went down to the basement and
Megu-nee was there?That time.
Don't forget she was a hair's breadth away from dying in the mall, and was planning on leaving on her own after the shorts festival before she had her talk with Yuki. She may be a bit too headstrong to survive alone. I think she needs Yuki and the others to keep her in balance, but so long as she has something to work towards she's the most capable. It just so happens keeping the group together and safe is what she's working for.
Author-san doesn't have the balls to kill her off for real, so he made her walk away.
She won't be seen again.
Kurumi is never kill. They'll keep her around as their fighter and eventually they can't keep her body together anymore after all the shit she's been through and it falls apart and then she dies.
It would be hilarious if it was revealed she did, but it's probably going to come down to Ayaka being a cunt to make things interesting or a revelation about how the virus works. It depends on whether the author wants to play the "humanity is the real monster" card or not.
>What the hell did they even go to the university for again?
To hopefully find someone related that could tell them more about the infection (i.e. the science teacher with a fuck-ton of zombies locked up in one of the buildings). If at least one person has to survive, Miki should absolutely try to make sure they save her too, or at the very least tell the others about her.
Ayaka probably did it, that crazy fucking whore.
>yfw out of all the college girls, she's somehow the only one to escape with the GGs
Ayaka is absolutely doing it to 1. Sow distrust between the groups and 2. Feel like she's in control of their lives. She's revels in killing and gets high off of control. She's basically a psychopath from dead rising.
>at the moment
It's always been Yuki
Miki legitimately got me into garterbelts/stocking combination, tight black shirts, and slender builds in general. She's like the exact opposite of what I usually find alluring.
She's the glue that holds 'em together, she's also the comic relief while realizing she's the comic relief. She can be serious when she needs to.
Kurumi is an overrated stereotype who takes too many risks and gets punished accordingly.
Rii is crazy and selfish to boot.
Miki is the only one who comes close with her down to earth personality and lewd garter belt.
Finally a use for this old image.
You best be ready for a fight faggot.
I feel embarrassed to admit it, but am I the only one who didn't see the big reveal for the imouto coming? Reading back now it's so obvious, and I thought it was weird she randomly found her sister but still...I only got it once the college kids captured them two
The imouto in the flashbacks even lacked the teddy bear ears
I'll be honest, I probably wouldn't have noticed if I didn't read comments. There's one scene where you see the reflection in glasses and you can even see the top of the bear ears.
>show us whether Kurumi will survive or not already.
>yfw at the end of the last chapter, as they drive away from the Randall Building, they pass by a zombie that has Kurumi's hair walking toward it
She's either not coming back or she'll come back just before finally succumbing to the infection to save them. At least Miki prevented Kurumi from shooting herself in the face. Though, a gun really would be helpful for them right now.
It actually is. Both the Yuki reveal and the Megu-nee reveal we're way better in the anime than the manga. The anime had a disappointing last episode and the devil himself toroumaru, but that doesn't detract from the general quality of the series that much.
>Yuki tells the zombies to go home
>AND THEY FUCKING DID
And not to mention everything that had to do with that fucking dog.
I like how the author's drawings are slowly maturing in some scenes... it's becoming less moe and more detailed. You can see the shadows being more detailed and folds on the clothing as well as more detailed hair.
It definitely could have benefited being longer and being more faithful to the manga in some regard (i.e. Miki being the outsider and clashing with the group dynamic) and keep everything involving Helicopter-kun to emphasize how fucked everything is. They really didn't need a pet mascot either when they already have Yuki as their psychotic moeblob.
They also shouldn't have removed the cute thigh nibbling. That much is absolutely unforgivable.
>Yuki tells the zombies to go home
>AND THEY FUCKING DID
Reinforcing the concept that they still had intelligence after turning, making the Megu-nee stuff even harder on them. It's really not that much different from when Miki's CD Player distracted them or when the scared off a horde with a fire extinguisher. It's not like a fire extinguisher could actually hurt them, but it scared them off because of their memories.
They don't need helicopter-kun if they don't plan on going past S1. Infact it would only be confusing and unresolved. Anime is made to sell the source material first and foremost.
It also aids the story, with shit getting more dark having shit look less stylized and more detailed helps the atmosphere.
Not being familiar with any previous work, I wouldn't be surprised if the illustrator actually was able to draw like that from the beginning and just eased into the style to match the story's tone as it progressed.
I always assumed it was like how Rii saved Kurumi and Yuki when Yuki was in the toilet in the manga where the zombies were simply lured away. Also while I didn't care for the dog nor for that 2nd dog? that supposedly was there, I know some people who did but those people also feel sadder when a dog dies than a human, so fuck em.
K-ON manga was complete trash compared to the anime even if you hated the anime.
I thought they were planning on going past S1 by showing Touko pick up their letter and by showing the bear.
I like both manga and anime either way and hope both continue and are good. Please don't let Kurumi die though.
That's the problem, "fine" could've been "great". Why be content with eating something bland when you know it could easily be turned into something Michelin star worthy with the same ingredients.
Because people make creative differences to appeal to different or broader audiences. Just because you didn't like it doesn't make it worse. I can count scores of Anime that are better than their source material, and there's a never ending stream of source purists their to defend their shit.
Anime was fine with the number of episodes it had. Manga is also fine though the current arc is ehhh but I'll have to wait till its over. Is the girl in the bike suit really pregnant?
>just suddenly starts remembering she had a little sister around the same time Yuki starts becoming more independent
>recently lost their club and her only real purpose
I wouldn't be surprised if Rii was always as off as Psycho-bitch in the Melee Fighting Club, even before the outbreak. She was really clingy to their club and club room, so probably she didn't exactly have too happy a home life either?
From reading between the lines, yeah. And this manga is all about paying attention to the small details and reading between the lines.
She was "close" with crossbow(in fact it seemed like she was the only one who was nice to him in the group) she was very upset with his death, and she was holding her stomach after he died. Signs point to yes.
And I can count scores more where the adaptation is mediocre or outright awful. Just because you're ignorant to the source doesn't make it good. And you say it was to appeal to a bigger audience but that same audience bought the manga more with a million and change versus not even 2k in disc sales.
Like I said before, anime are made first and foremost to sell merchandise and the source material above all else. Which it did. It adapted the important parts very well (The Megu-nee business and the cute girls doing zombie things) while adding some other elements to attempt to increase disc sales (like toroumaru). It failed in the latter aspect, but the investors were laughing all the way to the bank when the manga sold more in a week than in every week prior combined.
I never said the anime was great or superior to the manga, but it was fine for what it was and there are episodes I would watch again.
Sell it by totally butchering the characters? I know more that a few people who were put off by Yuki's full retard mode who dropped the show much less pick up the manga. They couldn't have predicted that million, which probably could've been more had they adapted it with a cohesive story, but adapting it for less than it is only seems like a lose/lose situation to me unless they just didn't have faith in their own creation.
They also botched Yuki's recovery from insanity during and after the destruction of the school. Not having Yuki being completely forced to break her illusion after being touched by the one thing she was constantly avoiding and having to accept the desolate situation at hand is a pivotal moment for her character and they didn't animate it at all.
Yuki's a lovable idiot who tries her hardest to do what's right even when she was subconsciously trying to suppress the fact that she's in the middle of a zombie outbreak.
That certain guy is either a sociopath or a very selfish self-preservative person, or both. He had no qualm assaulting Kurumi even before he knew for certain she is a zombie as well as using violence again one girl in his group when she couldn't stab a chained zombie in flashback. He was a type of guy who could kill countless innocents just to secure some minimal resorce for himself. I think Kurumi did a lot of favor to innocent survivors by putting him down. Also note that he begged for life like a bitch during his death.
All we know for sure is that:
1. Randall Corp basically revitalized a small town that was devastated by some virus in the 60s
2. Said town is in a location called the Land of the Snake God or something to that extent
3. Randall Corp deals in biochemical technologies and had documents on four/five strains of virus, with the zombie outbreak being the fifth and most dangerous one.
4. Knowing the previous, they had serums for antidotes for most of the strains in the bunkers in each building.
They are used to killing their classmates at that point. They used to have A LOT more people, but they had to selectively kick out people they deemed useless or not good enough, and usually this meant sending them to their deaths. That's what they meant when in that chapter where each character was talking about them being chosen/not chosen.
They had bunkers for buildings which could and do house a large number of people. Notice that both schools were designed in a way to be completely self-sufficient from the outside.
Not much new things to discuss. Newest chapter didn't reveal much. Will Kurumi die? Who caused crossbowman to turn? What's up with scientist? How will "diplomacy" work out? Are the MFC really the " bad guys"? Will pregnancy be an important point? Is the baby the leader guy's and he fucked up crossbowman? Will Rii fuck everything up by trying to look for Ruu?
You don't say.
Dumping vol.8 extra from the last thread
Preggers was killing zombies with screwdrivers and ice picks.
We were shown that she takes them to her and Kogami's room.
Most likely one or more of them carried the virus.
She then used one of them to kill Kogami and he got infected cause the virus was on it.
Did anything happen that we didn't already know?
we're building up to a climax
I've always loved Rii and I always will.
And I'm pretty sure you were around when the anime started airing, fuck you.
Say that to my face motherfucker not online and see what happens
But Yuki's distressed face turns me on more than anything else?
Animeonly fag here, can someone explain what exactly the point of transferring Yuki's delusions to Yuri was? Sure, the Megu-nee thing was a good subplot, but why would they rehash that for Yuri's sister?
The anime does the first episode reveal and fanservice better. Everything else is worse, especially anything plot related, which they constantly changed in the most confusingly horrible ways.
is gakkuo guracho still alive?
where did all the edit mexican images go?
Yuki's delusions end when she
smashes a zombie's face in with a mop after the helicopter crash.
shortly after they find a child zombie wandering in the middle of the road with a sign around its neck.
Their delusions are completely different. One's beneficial and the other's detrimental.
I don't think Yuki's delusions was totally beneficial. It was somewhat convenient at the time, but it had its downsides.
Their conditions are different, sure, but neither is good.
One's definitely more of a crutch than a ball and chain though. Megu-nee doesn't obfuscate Yuki's perception of danger to such an extent she'd run out in the middle of the night into a building full of zombies.
And Yuki also doesn't abandon her real friends for her illusions, but that might just be because Yuki isn't a total piece of shit like Rii is.
Rii's always been a bit off. I think the purpose is to show that in a more hostile environment, someone as mentally deranged as Yuki would be dangerous and would hurt more than help.
rii was suppose to be the most broken of the 4 from the start.
After the helicopter crashed and school got burn , she finally lost her shit.
now we know how she really is without that fake smile and pretending to be fine bullshit.
She does not care about kurumi being missing , she don't want to risk herself going out again and preffers to stay with her fake sister.
I think that's it , the first arc what to show how yuki evolves from being useless , to be the core of the group that maintains everyone togheter.
This arc is to show more despair and suffering about how one of the character is dying slowly.
how everyone distrust each other.
And how one of the most caring of the 4 , was a selfish cunt all along.
>how everyone distrust each other.
That never happened. Sure they hide things from each other, but it's not out of distrust. It's more like they don't want to worry everyone else. Kurumi for example hid her condition and left alone for that reason.
i was saying that putting every single character in the university arc they don't trust each other.
and even we got a confrontation allready leaving one dead guy
i have some mental problems , who cares.
instead of discuss something good
people waste a response to say "tumblr" or "I ship mikixkurumi" bullshit.
these GG threads are like shinnys rare threads for me.
that happens once every 1000 years and its getting wasted right now.
Please tell me Kurumi is just becoming a superhuman instead.
>yfw the next time they see Kurumi her skin is pale white, her eyes are glossed over and blind, and her bitten arm's completely stiff, but she's still not a full zombie
Or she used her superhuman strength to tear off her bitten arm as a last ditch effort to save herself.
Despite being batshit insane Yuki managed to be extremely competent and good at sensing danger to the point that she was their spotter.
It was beneficial in that without the delusions she'd probably be like Rii was when Rii started cracking or simply crying all day like she was implied to have been doing before snapping. It also became inadvertently beneficial to the morale of everyone else.
Going nuts is generally not good but going nuts in such a way that you become more useful to the group and your own survival is beneficial compared to the alternatives.
I'm afraid to pick up the manga because I don't want best girl to succumb to infection. And if it does happen, I'll just ignore the non-anime parts and insist that everything is daijobu.
I think blonde dude is trying to repeat history.
He killed off the other uni students so his group could have more supplies last time.
Now he killed crossbow dude to justify killing the rest for the same reason.
Hope biker girl skewers him good.
I bet Psycho-bitch talked him into it.
