>Star Trek with Range Murata designs
Color me intrigued. A shame they felt the need to announce it two years ahead of time.

sounds promising.
Guess I can't blame /a/ for the lack of interest over an adaption of a book from a guy no one's ever heard of. I'll just sit here and get hype for new cute Murata girls by myself.

We already had a small thread earlier, I think all five people who cared got it out of their systems.
>However, upon discovering that these aliens were not yet developed, humanity established a "Ministry of Supporting Foreign Civilizations," which uses Foreign Civilization Observation Officers to support and lift up these aliens behind the scenes until they become spacefaring civilizations.
Why would humans ever want to do that? It sounds like a terrible idea.

Take up the earth man's burden, send forth the best ye breed.

It didn't work here on earth, and I doubt it would work in space either.

>Range Murata isn't dead
Thank god, I was almost worried.

Range Murata's work is a gift from heaven.
Post Range Murata's work
It sounds interesting, and a science fiction-story about an actually benevolent makind trying to uplift alien civilizations is a nice change for once.
I will however rather stay away from the threads, so that I won't spoil myself too much when the anime airs.
>Foreign Civilization Observation Officers to support and lift up these aliens behind the scenes until they become space faring civilizations
Seems to be the complete opposite of star trek.
The federation always ends up either exploiting or fucking up a pre warp civ in some way.
I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE, HELL YESI've had a horrible day, this is just the thing I needed to see

I CAN WAIT
More sci-fi is always good, espically one with android girls.
