Girls doing male-heavy activities is much more common in general than the reverse. Anyway, there are some, just not a lot - Wada Shinji, for example. And there are a decent number of males who primarily do shounen/seinen but have dipped into shoujo/josei once or twice.

If it was you'd just make a product that everyone wants and then the commercial would be "Hey, it exists. Here is what it does. It's on sale."

Instead, it's about figuring out how to influence/trick people into thinking they want something.

Example: Do "women's" razors suck? Yes. Do you pay more for them than standard ones? Often.

Would women be afraid of being seen as less feminine? Yeah.

Predicting what women want isn't about understanding girls, it's about knowing what other women think about them.
