The next chapter or two is basically going to be Juno showing Aster up because Aster has had like several back-to-back-to-back arcs where he has performed extremely well.

Juno will get more credit than Aster for dusting the Diamond kingdom chumps (who I bet money were somehow goaded into attacking so Golden Dawn could get some accolades in the face of the Bulls suddenly being the most competent people in the kingdom)- because hey these guys are the enemy country that hates us. Even if Aster and the Bulls beat a dude way stronger than any of them.

To try to answer this seriously, aside from being generally disliked, there's just not a whole lot that's interesting to discuss about it. The plot is ill-constructed and seemingly random, it often reads more like a script to a videogame than an actual story: go to location Y, get magical macguffin X. Bad guys show up because they're bad, and want to destroy the clover kingdom. Magic powers are used in seemingly completely random ways (the guy making a car out of smoke is the worst example). The characterization is at best poor, at worst non-existent. The black bulls are all one-note gimmicks. The nobles are haughty pricks. At best, people get a sappy flashback that's supposed to add depth and make you feel sympathy for them, but it's so overused it becomes near worthless. Asta himself is essentially a clone of Naruto personality-wise, which means to a lot of people he's an unlikable overconfident prick. The fact that his one real combat technique is hitting things with his sword makes him pretty boring. He never really seems to get a better strategy, instead he just yells about protecting his friends and overcomes obstacles through force of will. He often needs help just to make the fights interesting, which is fine, but most of the time the fights are decided by some sort of deus ex machina, which is incredibly lame. He just got bailed out by Yami for the second time in the last few chapters, didn't he? That device repeating itself so quickly is boring and makes him look weak.

But beyond all that, it's just not that interesting and leaves little to discuss. There's no greater plot, no mysteries to discuss, nothing to speculate on, and not a lot for people to get attached to.

The boobs are nice, though. Tabata should draw them more.

comparing the series to another series isn't a meaningful critique, you're just stating your preferences. BNHA has nothing to do with the quality of BC or the lack of passion it inspires. But that's about the level of intelligence I've come to expect from clover fans.

Black Clover is just bad very, very little redeeming qualities.

I very much enjoy both Black Clover and BNHA. I think they're both great. Both have great artwork, but I guess BNHA is better in regards to story and characters.

I have no idea why /a/ is so triggered by Black Clover. It's nowhere near as bad as /a/ says it is. It's any more generic than any other shonen series. It has a lot of potential.

When were you when Black Clover OVA (aka the step before an anime) was announced?

Outside of Yami and the Wizard dude, no one in the series has personality. They have one gimmick and they ride that gimmick all the way to the bank with nothing else. Everything is literally the same until Aster yells something. Then everyone goes "This boy...!" and suddenly all their problems are magically resolved. You would think this would lead to development of some kind, as shallow as it is, but no. Their personality is their gimmick. DESPAIR, ALCOHOL, SISTER, YELLING, LIKES TO FIGHT, HIDDEN CRUSH, COWARD, FOOD. Shit's boring.

Once they get those they can use quirks whenever they want essentially.
