They need to go overboard with the fanservice in season 4

It's good if you like animal girl fanservice. Nothing else really.

The problem was that season 2 didn't have any serious threats to be handled. Also, the wargames became nothing more but beamspams.
Season 3 could have been dramatic at the beginning when the armies of the three realms marched into the southern dragon lands to fight the demons, and everyone said that this would be a very serious fight.
But then the Flognardians still just popped into little cutesy furrballs.

Still, the girls were cute, and that new bunny boy was adorable too.

From the looks of it, the output of Seven Arcs Pictures is only 1-2 anime per year, and this year's slot is filled with Vivid Strike.
So if there's gonna be a Dog Days s4 at all, it will be next year at the earliest.

But then the writers pussied out, and nobody was really hurt after all.
