The KLK crossover also worked since the KLK reference in the previous episodes was fairly obvious. It also wasn't about randomly going into the series' setting BUT IN SPACE, but tackling an element of its premise that the show itself didn't (other planets controlled by the life fiber).

The whole thing just worked very well, while the other ones were comparatively random.
