I am. But Flying Witch had something very special that I think distinguishes it from Amanchu.

I'm enjoying Amanchu though because it's the Aria author and I really love Aria. I like the heavy introspective focus on Teko. But honestly Amanchu seems to be yuribaiting a little too hard.

No. Tanaka was a step closer to the "comedy" side of healing anime. Flying Witch is like, extreme healing, with practically zero comedy. It might have two jokes a whole episode just as a way of punctuating the scenes.

Perhaps I'm just going through a rough time in my life, but around two-thirds of the way through Flying Witch I honestly thought, "Maybe I should sell all my possessions and move to the countryside..."

The honest work, the simple wonders, the happy people...I've grown too cynical to think it's real, but I really and truly wanted it, if only for a moment.
