Cape comics have very shitty writing.
Characters like Superman and Flash, going by powers, potential and feats should be almost invincible, but they get to lose because the plot demands it.

Batman shouldn't be able to beat half the amount of people he beats, but he does it because the plot demands it (due to a massive amount of fanboyism on part of both writers and readers).

Mind you though, supwerpowers in comics can get very creative and interesting, but they're always poorly used and/or executed. When you reach the levels of rubbish Supes can do, or anything you can do with the Speedforce, you shouldn't be an Earth based hero but a cosmic level one, so that you can deal with foes on a whole different level, so that no matter how OP the hero can be so will his villains.
