How can people not get this? With the amount of chapters each match got, ending the entire tournament would've taken like 300 more chapters, not to mention not a single match after that would've been able to match the last match since it was against the best team in the entire tournament.

I dont know a single sports manga that did not show the last match of the series. I don't care if they got trashed at least show us the match. They got beaten by literally who(in terms of story not strength of the team) at least let Kainan win the whole thing

But I would bite, Both are good because Kuroko does not pretend to be other than a super natural basketball with super human abilities so its not pretentious. Overall Slam Dunk is much better in terms of story,games and characters.

Slam Dunk is one of the few anime/manga that I wish would get the HxH 2011 or FMA Brotherhood treatment. Its such an amazing story, especially for a sports manga, and it deserves a new anime.
