It is a bad adaptation, but I think it is a good way to get people who are genuinely intrigued by Berserk to read the manga, which is really the best thing to do to enjoy Berserk

They actually did Farnese's backstory really well I think. Well, at least the part where she was throwing torches anyways.

Let's be completely honest, the only reason the soundtrack for this show is good is because it's just electronic metal remixes of the songs from the movies.
I like the show, granted I also have a thing for getting dommed by petite women with short hair, and even I will admit most of the shows audio is either public domain or rehashed tracks.
