As for why, there are a few reasons.

1-transparent bubbles, while some of them are just moaning that can be skipped a few of them have real dialogue in them

2-A ton of text all over the main picture. If you want to be lazy you can just paint over it with white. However if you want it to look nice that is going to be a lot of clone stamping, and straight up redrawing, which all can take a while.

You really don't. Last time I checked, paying using credits was about 10x more expensive and that's after taking the conversion into consideration.

Why have a text doc. I mean I have over 3200 doujin/manga in a folder, but they are mostly sorted thanks to Happypanda. I can't think of any reason you would need just text docs
