The world feels so ungodly bleak.
I have some complaints about the series but the sphere of it all was just GOAT.
Every episode just felt so empty, so devoid of life, everything just felt like it was rusting away.

Great character design, artstyle and atmosphere, awfuly slow and boring story.

It was really cathartic.

All of the stories (main and episodic) had a satisfying conclusion.
All characters went through development and found their resolve/admitted their sins/confessed.
And the themes of the show were greatly explored.

Too many subplots dropped in favor of more Ringo screen time
Horrible finale, Casshern is an idiot and accomplished literally nothing

The episodic episodes were GOAT though. The singer, the constantly-fighting girl, the belltower-building woman, the guy who painted the city were all amazing

Good show but kinda dropped off holding my interest around the halfway point

The final scene where Casshern appears to Luna and promises her that she will always be the shadow of death is one of the few in anime that seriously startled me.

The way his image appears suddenly, without warning or explanation after he already left, accompanied by his demonic scream was terrifying. It really hit the right spot.

Literally did nothing wrong.

It's a gorgeous series, the art (colouring in particular), designs, OST and atmosphere were all godly. It had a very bleak, depressing feel but the overall message was really nice.
