But reading it and how he goes on and on about the swimsuits, even attaching them to every name and descriptor and how he goes on about how good the girls smell, I legitimately think Kamachi is sexually frustrated.

I think he needs to take a break from his apparently non-stop novel writing and go rub one out.

Though that's also what Touma did when he first learned about magic. In volume 1 in particular, and for the first half of OT really, he would compare magic he came across to scientific principles because it was the only point of comparison he had. Super Cliff notes.

Right after the anime, the God's Right Seat Arc starts. They're basically Magicians with the power of Angels. They all end up depowered or dead.

After that is New Testament, most of which is comprised of the Magic God arc. Magic Gods are basically omnipotent, being able to destroy and recreate the universe whenever they want. Most of New Testament consists of Touma getting the shit kicked out of him by people who hilariously outclass him, then getting saved by somebody. Eventually all the Magic Gods are banished/depowered.

Now we're doing weird shit with what is basically the Kamisato arc, where there's a guy named Kamisato that has a power opposite Touma's (he can send people to a world where they're happy for the rest of eternity, this is a bad thing). Also Misaka is going crazy.

The magic gods suck because every future plot arc would have to involve them, every fight with them would either be NT9 again, "lol i'm not even trying" or them catching a planet-sized idiot ball. They make every previous plot arc worse by their introduction to the universe, since they just let it happen and therefore it wouldn't have actually had any impact on the world if Touma hadn't stopped them. They would've been much better as just themed filler magicians rather than filler magicians THAT ACTUALLY RUN THE UNIVERSE LOL.
