You are an idiot if you believe this. Diana was run of the mill tsundere, not the tsun half to a person. Tenri wasn't deredere or whatever you're going on about; she was a shy girl with a low-key crush because she prioritized her friendship over that, until the weird final arc I guess.

The goddesses were just extra girls in the end. Add-ons for the sake of plot, not other halves.

I don't like Chihiro as much as the next person but it really was the right choice.

Recalling that the reason Keima wanted to pick a girl was to stop all the other girls from chasing him, Keima's end goal really was just to have a peaceful life.

The choice Keima wants to make is one that will deviate from his old life as little as possible.

Going out with an idol, as fun as that might be, is definitely deviating from his old life. Going out with ayumi the best, while possible as Keima is right now, would be impossible in his old life due to little to no interaction with her.

The most likely girl old Keima would go out with is Chihiro, since she is the only one who would have feelings for him.

So that's his choice, the same choice old Keima would have come made, in a bid to return to his old self.

He is apathetic enough to 3D to make running away his goal but cares about Chihiro enough to consider going out with her as a solution.
You can't completely dismiss him as a cold calculative bastard, neither can you call him a romantic with shit taste.
He had a goal and hence made the best choice to get it.
In his mind, Keima has won.
