High FPS Sidonia would have been a treat. The interpolation experiments attempted were rather impressive in action.

Amusingly they didn't pay attention to the last "tolerable CGI" show; Black Rock Shooter. Say what you will about how shit the show was, the CGI was directed rather effectively and used innovative tricks to cheat the eye and dupe you into seeing good keyframes.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't pretty either. I mention BRS because for very short periods of time, you could actually forget it was CGI because of their effectiveness in hiding the "smoothness" of 3d modeling.
