It is just one person speculating, but so far nothing indicates Mikoto is fighting Yuiitsu. It looks like Yuiitsu decided to go after Kamisato instead.

I was kind of hoping that some other characters would show up but it just looks like Kamisato's harem + Touma and Tokiwadai girls.

I still bet there will be side effects that will either prevent her from using it altogether and search for another way to improve her powers or at least make it so that she only uses it at very important moments until it catches up to her and she gets in really bad shape.

Needing help is plot armor? Sort of an odd way to look at it. And most of the time someone else helps Touma fight the boss/basically feats the boss for him. Touma rarely fights people by himself anymore.

Hell, i'm not sure why Touma should need to be able to win every fight by himself for it to not be plot armor. He has people that give a shit about him and want to help him, there's nothing wrong with them handling some stuff for him.

That's fair and is less stupid or forced because Touma fought against people that are around his level so they didn't suffer from CIS and Touma could deal with them realistically with his own skills that doesn't require IB.

Two ways to look at it: it's normal or he doesn't develop. Either way, I can't see how it's interesting at all that would make it stand out.

IB is plot armor. Touma's existence makes people save/help him is plot armor. All MC have it so that's a moot point. But what matters is execution, which is often done rather poorly in Touma's case. Touma has a normal human body and can only move and perceive within the limits of a normal human. Loads of characters can beat/kill him. When these mid-boss characters that can beat/kill Touma appears in arc, they are usually countered by characters that appear or are in co-op with Touma that fends them off. Touma then is allowed to reach the finale where a big bad awaits who's as strong, or is stronger than the mid-boss characters. Essentially, the universe bends to Touma, the writing has to work around Touma's obvious weakness and that affects the way plot is written with tons of characters that can walk all over Touma, but somehow Touma is usually the one that beats the big bad.
