Is Claymore good?
I liked it. Although around halfway it gets really out of hand and changes gears. Still a fun ride though
Yes. Jumps sharks at one point but never becomes bad.
Begins to suffer from sameface when the cast expands during the final arc.
It starts very good. It received praises while it was ongoing and some even compared it to Berserk, up to the North Expedition (a shit-goes-down story arc which prompted a timeskip), after which it drags along forever with no plot or character development and then it abruptly ends with no answers. It's worth checking out but don't get emotionally invested.

"was" good and it stops being good when it jumps the shark and claire goes into hibernation. Sets up some interesting points, never delivers, then runs around in circles before shitting itself.

I would say it's worth a read, good series overall, not the best not the worst. A character may seem annoying at first, but changes later on

Superb
It was a really good read but i remember dropping it. Claymore did get me back into anime and manga.
Needed more /ss/. Many series fall victim to this terrible epidemic.
Not really, but it's not terrible. If you want to read it just read it.
What everyone else said - starts good, ends less good.
The anime isn't bad either by the way. It pretty successfully adapts only the better first half.

it's great.

Anime is pretty good but it differs from the manga at some point, nonetheless it's well drawn and enjoyable.
Manga is also pretty good IMO, just as anons said, it's not a mindblowing masterpiece but it's worth the time.
I'm interested in the manga as someone that liked the series. Please no spilers, but will there be answers to the following questions:
What is the organization actually up to?
Will I see how a Claimore looks underneath their suits?
Will I learn how the whole turning into Claimore thing works?

Yes.
Yes.
Uuuh, i don't remember but i think so.

Thanks anon. I'm prepared for the drop in quality, but I already saw that later covers have Theresa on them, that's reason enough for me to read it.
Good waifus.

Enjoy it anon, even after the part where most people consider its peak it's still a fun ride. Just with less direction and sense.
