The anime was being lazy in writing, while its manga adaptation is going full throttle, it didn't even hestitate to show a dead shota. This series clearly needs a remake.

Anime went full b-movie plot while manga went full slasher-horror. Honestly, the darkgrim manga version is kinda boring due to how generic it is. At least with the anime, we can laugh as how horrible and silly the entire premise is.

Considering how cryptic anime usually is when it comes to relationships, theirs is canon in my book. Of course they were not going to include a wedding scene so we notice they have a thing for each other, not that we'd need it anyway.
