Will Luffy protect his smile?
>Orochimaru got away with everything
>Mayuri got away with everything
Will One Piece's own lovably immoral scientist get away with everything?
Not as used as Nami or Robin so yeah she is perfect.
Can we talk about how, since the timeskip, Oda has thrown away every single value and theme he wrote in the previous half?
>people die you cant save everyone
>im always serious!
>non-blood relatives, shanks, zeff, tom, koshiro
>anyone can be great
>im gonna save everyone!!
>saves KKG for very last minute
>lol blood relatives, garp, dragon, vinsmokes, vegapunk, moon-birkans
>finite haki supply and CoV predetermines who will be great
>people die you cant save everyone
This is the only one you're right about
>saves KKG for very last minute
An attack that immediately exhausted him and knocked him out of Gear 4. That's like asking why Pre-TS didn't spam Gear 3rd
What does that even mean? Genetics? Because Sanji's genetics didn't mean shit. They explicitly said he was a dud. It was his training with Zeff that made him what he was.
>anyone can be great
Destiny has been a theme since Lougetown. And do you really believe that Ussop, Chopper, and Nami will never achieve their dreams?
Adding to this, if anything the existence of haki enforces the "anyone can be great" theme. Not everyone can find some rare hax devil fruit, but anyone can potentially become an expert CoA and CoO user.
>Map making bloodline
I hope you understand how fucking stupid that sounds.
This is correct. It's no more formulaic than it was before.
>yfw this is Alabasta from above
>yfw Vivi said the river was 50 km wide
>yfw the capital city is too small in comparison to even see
>yfw you can make out mountain ranges
>yfw you realize Alabasta is the size of fucking Australia
>yfw Alabasta was just a pebble compared to the size of Grand Line and four Blues
>yfw the One Piece world is even more fucking massive than you realized
>Oda dicksuckers BTFO
>don't take it too seriously
Maybe you shouldn't take sucking his dick too seriously and accept he is a hack
I think that it would be a great running gag that Cesar is their permanent prisoner and eventually he sticks with them because he knows that if he escapes he'll be hunted down by other powerful pirate crews for a variety of reasons.
>we'll never get a decent animated, well-paced OP anime
What a waste of a pretty fun manga.
>tfw Magellan will never end up with Reiji
>he'll never get a blowjob from her
>he will be foreveralone cursed to think there's noone out there for him
>Weeaboo thinks those measly "war crimes" somehow compare to the mass genocides and barbaric actions of the Japanese military.
>He thinks a few soldiers raping and murdering some citizens, against orders, is somehow comparable to Japanese "comfort women", or the "Rape of Nanjing".
I'm betting you think the Japanese-American Internment Camps were equal to the Nazi Concentration Camps.
Shitty bait, you obviously didn't put much thought into this.
>im gonna save everyone!!
Literally the only legitimate criticism
>saves KKG for very last minute
Are you autistic? Do you even read OP? Since when has always being serious meant using your strongest attack or technique from the get-go for Luffy? Oh wait, it literally never has. Not with gear second for Blueno, not with gear third for Lucci, both of which were pre-timeskip.
>lol blood relatives, garp, dragon, vinsmokes, vegapunk, moon-birkans
Are you autistic? Did you somehow think Oda wouldn't introduce any of the strawhat's relatives into the story or that they would be irrelevant?
Besides, if you actually paid attention you would realize that non-blood relatives are still more meaningful. Blood relatives are just coming in for plot.
Sanji still looks up to Zeff for shaping him into who he is today, not the Vinsmokes, who he fucking hates
Luffy still looks up to both Garp and Shanks for shaping him into what he is today. He couldn't give two shits about Dragon.
Franky still owes everything to Tom, not his real parents. Same with Nami, Chopper, and Zoro with their respective non-blood related guardians.
>finite haki supply and CoV predetermines who will be great
This doesn't make any sense
>people die you cant save everyone
>im gonna save everyone!!
Luffy had no problem with death until both his brothers died
If anything he might relax a little knowing that Sabo is fine
The real issue is a loss of personal connection after the timeskip
It's been kingdom saving, alliance creating, a million tag-along side characters and the crew, ironically, splitting up for longer than they've been together since the timeskip. The great adventure in the world's most dangerous ocean is missing.
and the next thing to look forward to is ANOTHER kingdom with a tyrannical leader the Straw Hats and company overthrow and replace with the original, benevolent family.
Carrot will be the _____ of the Straw Hats.
So people in this thread have said ceaser will stay with the crew under a permanent prisoner kind of deal. Is there any other real believable/acceptable way he would get kept around and join? At this point he doesn't really have anywhere else he can go
I really hope Caesar would be a nakama. Jinbe would be far too ''regular'' and have no interesting dialogue with the rest of the SHs, especially since they kinda wrapped up the entire Arlong thing in Fishman Island. Caesar is an antihero and wouldn't be too overpowered compared to the rest of SHs and he would fill in the logia gap that SHs lack.
Even their handling of the OST is infuriating. They've significantly turned down the volume on all music after the TS, so the moments that the music could improve on or even save from being utter shit, is ruined by barely hearing the beautiful music.
I kinda understand not spending money on the animation for their greedy reasons, but this is just incompetence.
someone like him will always find a place to go.
Because he's obviously going to be integral to their victory against Big Mom, even if his only real goal is to get the hell out of there.
Him and Chopper already have a banter relationship. He has nowhere else to go. He may end up helping to rescue Sanji.
I've been saying Caesar is next nakama before he even got captured and I'm sticking to it.
Reminder that Ceaser had his own Lab, his own island, plenty of funding, complete protection from even Big Mom, his own subordinates and test subjects to test weapons on, a cute assistant and whores every other week- he had a perfect life
Then Luffy showed up, allied with Law, ruined his experiments, beat him unconscious, took his heart, used him as a hostage, defeated his benefactor, then gave him to an Emperor who will kill him in two weeks unless he does something he knows he can't
Caesar seems to realize on some level that he had it coming. I think he's been dragged into so much shit so quickly that he doesn't even blame Luffy for it anymore. He seemed more pissed at Doflamingo for letting himself get beat.
At this point all Caesar wants to do is escape as far away from the action as he can. I think if he got away by himself he'd sail all the way back to one of the Blues and spend the rest of his life curing whooping cough in a tiny village, saving babies.
Not because he's a good person - but because he's piss-scared that if he ever acts up again at all the entire shitstorm will start again.
Basically he's a lovable coward, which is exactly why I think the strawhats are just going to drag him along further and deeper into the adventure while he freaks out but can't do anything to stop it.
That's a running gag I could see working. And, if any of the strawhats are ever going to die, he could finally find his courage and sacrifice himself or something.
There's a lot you could do with him and Vegapunk, for example. A lot of "science" shit is going to happen soon and the crew might just need a scientist to do exposition.
Have you all celebrated the pirate god, shichibukai "star clown" buggy-sama's birthday today?
Today is Bellamy's birthday.
Good luck and pillars of massive gold will come to you but only if you post Bellamy abuse in the thread.
>you will never EVER lick Perona's sweaty dirty sour lolita feet after a hot summer day
everyday is like a birthday for buggy. He's a god afterall. No need to celebrate him more than usual.
LEAVE BINAMI ALONE
He probably does it for intimidation status, like Luffy's known as eight meter giant because of his bad reputation, and most powerful characters are large in OPverse, so Buggy does it to maintain his legend status.
That's why I'm saying he should do it more often. He didn't do that when he was broadcasting the war did he? It still looks goofy but being at least huge like that is a bit more intimidating.
I'd rather lick this beautiful, meaty, sweaty, gladiator's feet after a fight
Seriously though, this pic has sparked my love for Rebecca somehow.
>falling for the /a/ meme and hating Rebecca
>she has always been great
That doesn't even make sense. Inrealise you're a memelord and a shitposter but don't be fucking retarded.
>why did the chicken cross the road?
>lee oddaaa memesucker hurddd xddesss
I was never a fan of her personality and character and I'm still not. I'm not like one of those retards who hate on a character because there's people drawing gay porn of him or whatever.
I'm talking purely looks wise. She just hasn't been posted that much these days that I forgot how hot she was. Seeing that picture made me realise that.
Best pairing! Incredible chemistry in the manga and great doujins!
The crew needs a logia nakama, and aokiji isn't signing up.
Caesar is necessary to the characterization and story of Vegapunk.
Vegapunk is an old man, and Caesar will assume his work and continue but under Luffy.
Gigantism, but also whatever important things the WG is up to.
Oh yes, that's it, I forgot.
Now I get why he's still tagging along.
I can't wait for Nami and Sanji to
You know, The Fishman Island arc is pretty weak, but I think it is worth it for that amazing flashback. It has a surprisingly mature vision about the subject of racism by Otohime and the way it re-contextualizes Arlong's actions as just another link in the endless chain of retaliation is very intelligent.
Looking for tumblr anime version of this.
Nah I agree, the whole Fisher Tiger and fish people story struck a chord in me. It was heavier than most shit. Made me absolutely despise the nobles. Shit got kinda real.
Yeah I'm a fish fucker what of it? Fight me.
her name is brulee, anon
hack is a fishman
>the living objects in and around Whole Cake Island are called homies
This is it. This is the last straw. I can't fucking read this manga anymore. Fuck you Oda.
Hody Jones= Arlong 2.0 (with less quality)
Punk Hazard= Drum 2.0 (with less quality)
Dressrosa= Alabasta 2.0 (with less quality)
Rebecca= Vivi 2.0 (with less quality)
Riku= Cobra 2.0 (with less quality)
Sabo= Ace 2.0 (with less quality)
Whole Cake Island= Thriller Bark 2.0 (with less quality)
Big Mom= Moria 2.0 (with less quality)
Sertiously, why has Oda become such a shit writer sincethe timeskip? Just what happened?
> 830+ chapters since the start
> 250 chapters since the timeskip
> Crewmembers of the soon Pirate King
Nami and Chopper are running from fodder trees. They are still getting caught every arcs.
Will these two remains fodders until the end of the series?
technically maybe if no one else is there to take over the territory.
But since luffy will just move on to the next island, no one will be there to protect the territory, so maybe it will cause anarchy. Good job luffy.
It's not so simple as just beating them to take their title, they actually have territory they rule over. Just like how after Blackbeard Killed Whitebeard, he was familiar with his territory, so he quickly conquered it, thus earning his title as an emperor.
The emperor spot is defined by the territories they control, not just their powerlevel. They are actualy emperors, who rule over people.
I don't think Luffy would be into that, but his crew is very likely going to bully him into it with the alliance. The countries will also want to be under him.
But I doubt that he'll go for the emperors one by one. It'd take way too long. I'm pretty sure they'll be taken out all at the same time in one arc.
BB kills Shanks at the end of the Kaidou arc.
People needs to stop with this. It feels like Blackbeard will kill Shanks off panel or Oda will focus 2 chapters about it like he did with Ace vs Blackbeard. The thing is, Shanks and his crew need to be fleshed out and Oda isn't going to skip that. Yes, Shanks will probably die against Teach, but before that Shanks will get his own arc.
>Law has 2 theme songs
>Both are smooth like Sanji's theme
Damn. talk about being a popular character.
Wanda = Shushu 2.0
Lola's Dad = Gaimon 2.0
Yeti Cool Brothers = Sham & Buchi 2.0
Momonosuke = Chabo 2.0
Viola = Nojiko 2.0
Mermaid Quintuplet = Ninjin, Tamanegi and Piiman 2.0
Kabu = Fly in Fullbody's Soup 2.0
Ace was fleshed out. He appeared in Alabasta then had a fight against Blackbeard then he was at Impel down and Marineford and then he had a flashback. Actually he got 2 flashback. How is that not fleshed out. His total panel time almost equal Doflamingo.
>Haven't read or seen OP in 6 years
>Thinking about getting back into it
>Find out this qt exists
I've been away for too long
Friendo, if I gave a shit about that I wouldn't like anyone
99% of this doesn't even make any fucking sense
>both characters are a king/ruler, they're the same!!!!!
>both characters are fishmen that hate humans (totally unheard of), they're the same!!!!!
>both characters have a DF with similar properties despite being completely different in every other aspect, they're the same!!!
>both are important side characters that befriend the Strawhats and happen to be female, they're the same!!!!
>drum and punk hazard, they're the same!!!, (I don't even know how you came to this conclusion)
Also, implying prallels are bad
How many times have Luffy or Zoro been taken out by some dumb thing and their carelessness? It's not like Jack who just goes into enemy and gets his ass kicked over and over again. She was just tricked by unknown ability. We cant measure her until she gets a proper fight by the end of the arc.
Does anyone here actually feel emotionally attached to Law after his story?
I still dislike him.
They also both introduce a character who is a doctor and decides to travel with the crew. In fact, there are tons of similarities, anyone who says it's not deliberate is a fucking moron.
>One Piece supposedly going downhill
>Still manages to shit on every other shonen manga
>post yfw Luffy's awakening gives him the properties of rubber AND gum
Caesar is ugly as sin, so no.
>has weird power
There's nothing weird about the gas fruit
>good at medical science
Caesar is a good scientist, chopper is a good doctor
>creams his pants when the gigantic gas thing is released
Creaming because your scared =\= creaming because you're excited
>ends up with the crew despite not wanting to go
Chopper wanted to go deep down and came voluntarily. Caesar had no choice.
>people dislike marineford
>oda, "haha that was nothinw-wait till you see the final war..."
What about bullet, though?
MS fucked up the dialogue in this panel
>MS!Luffy: "This means you guys didn't just multiply for fun!"
>VIZ!Luffy: "Well, you guys were the ones who multiplied!"
>MS!Nami: That's impossible! You continue to reach brand new heights of idiocy!
>VIZ!Nami: "We can't multiply! Well, we did, but--"
So Luffy isn't as dumb and Nami isn't as bitchy.
MS has admitted on numerous occasions that they have no clue what they're doing and they're just translating shit as they feel ike it.
But you get what you pay for. It's still better than nothing.
post timeskip ratings:
There are still faggots who think One Piece is as good as before.
> b-but One Piece is still awesome, there is nothing wrong with post timeskip.
i agree with this. there's a lot less magic in the new world. it's almost as if the characters and crew have become parodies of themselves when and if you even see them together. where are our fluff islands, bonding crew and skypiea tier oddities and inventions? what happened to dreaming? it's just pants-on-head fighting now and not much else.
They didn't teach you to interpret graphs in school did they?
The sales for 2010-2011 are obviously disproportionally high and are clearly not representative of the norm for OP.
If we take that into consideration the big drop is just everything balancing out and going back to the way it was before. It's even increasing again.
I miss when Chopper was a man.
Because Chopper yanked it off, duh.
Actually, this is pretty well thought out.
I like one piece post ts, but you're right, a lot of the lessons they've tried to teach have been thrown to the wind. Then again, it's a pretty long series, and lessons in morality are not the focal point.
cut her some slack, she fights with martial arts and she's against illusion type enemy.
if anything, her getting captured guarentees her place in the strawhats, as they each have their very own rescue arc
I love SanjixNami lots and lots
We do with what we have anon. For now we know that sales are decreasing and volumes ratings have been pretty low. We don't know however if people are satisfied since the timeskip which seem to be your claim, pretty much everything is showing the opposite. Dissatisfaction over satisfaction
They aren't decreasing though.
According to that graph sales are just going back to the range they normally were, and are even increasing, to what they were before the huge 2010-2011 boom which was obviously OP's highest point and wasn't going to last forever.
I like how you're ignoring that Zou's volumes are just as good as Pre-TS volumes
The problem is post struggle is that the feeling of struggle is no longer there when we already know that everyone got randomly super powered up after the timeskip.
The arcs themselves have too many panels that jump from one thing to another instead of having a clearer focus which just makes everything look like a jumbled up mess. And jumbled up messes are not really fun to read. In fact it gets annoying.
>The problem is post struggle is that the feeling of struggle is no longer there when we already know that everyone got randomly super powered up after the timeskip.
Did you feel the same way from Thriller Bark to Marineford? Because Enies Lobby had random powerups too.
I agree with the art/focus issues though.
Friendly reminder that cedar the pharmacist will be the next crew member
Friendly reminder that this will be canon soon
impel down, waiting for dellinger's boypussy
>why wouldn't they
Why would they? If they didn't learn it while training for two years then why should they have to learn it now? That would just be wasting time that the SH don't have.
>they will kiss
Your delusions are getting even further out of hand anon. He will tell pudding to wait for him while he goes to search for all blue and he'll come back and tell her all about it. Screencap this
Can't say I agree with your first point, but I get where you're coming from on the second. I think Oda has been alright on that front since near the end of Dressrosa though.
It will probably come up if Usopp says something about it. Zoro and especially Luffy don't seem like the type to just explain something like that. Maybe Sanji, but definetly not the other two.
Just like he told Viola he was going to comeback for her right?
Maybe learn Sanji's character before you try talking about him.
>s-She was using him
Sanji was happy with her before he left to save Nami.
Again learn his character
>Fruiter than a warehouse full of fruitcakes
>Doesn't make it the center of everything
>Kicks ass in the name of FRIENDSHIP
>Legit balls of steel facing down death with a smile
>Bro for life and honorary Strawhat
You're damn right he's the king of faggot town.
>they will just leave
I bet you hope that. This is a arc based on her and sanji. If you believe they won't develop deep feeling for each other by the end then you're crazy. She already damn near in love with him after meeting him once, that will only get stronger the more they're together
>he told viola he was coming back for her
When did he say this? Why would he need to go back to her once he found out she really didn't like him like that and she was safe?
>he was happy with her before he got back to Nami
>learn his character
I'm the one who needs to be saying that anon. Sanji right now equally loves every girl and pretty much treats them all equal. The biggest difference between them and Nami is that she's on the ship. So of course he's going to have more interaction with her then them. But outside of that sanji really will get with any girl who shows him actual love and you clearly don't know his character if you don't know this
>Luffy not the one that gets more development with princess of the arc
Don't laught at him guys, he doesn't know what he is saying..
So you are a speed reader huh? No wonder you are delusional, you only see what you want to see.
I'll say it again, you don't know Sanjis character.
And yes this is right before he goes off to save Nami. Just saying since you are a speed reader.
>VIZ chapter name is "Kingdom of Soul".
>Luffy doesn't say, "This means you guys didn't just multiply for fun!" and likewise Nami doesn't say anything about Luffy "reaching new heights of idiocy." The dialogue in that panel is: Luffy says, "Well, you guys were the ones who multiplied!" and Nami responds with, "We can't multiply! Well, we did, but--"
>When Brulée tells them that Big Mom knows of her presence, instead of the part about "The only reason I'm here is because Mama ordered it," she states "We're all after you now on Mama's orders!", so she's not just talking about herself.
>In the VIZ version, Brulée refers to Chopper's Monster Point as a "trick": "...you can do this trick, too?!" and calls Big Mom a "collector of freaks".
>In the following to panels, the "Come out, come out, wherever you are~ little girl!" in MS seemed to imply that Nami escaped from the living creatures in the woods by hiding from them, but in VIZ it says, "Wait up, you! Come back, little girl!" implying instead that she outran them, which better fits with what she says throughout the rest of the chapter.
>Rather than Nami saying she stumbled around in the dark (which could imply that the woods themselves were dark), she says she ran around until it got dark. So I'm guessing it's nighttime now again?
>Instead of Luffy telling the Guy in the Ground, "We don't have time for that!" he says "This is important, man!"
>Guy in the Ground doesn't say that Nami's "not so much" (referring to her being strong); instead, after saying that Luffy looks tough, he asks Nami, "But are you?"
>Luffy noting in VIZ about the trees/flowers/etc, instead of the bubble where he "beat the living crap out of them and they stopped harassing me", he says, "I knocked a bunch of them out, and then they calmed down!"
>Guy-in-Ground doesn't say anything about the souls "settling" into things at any point in VIZ; he just says, "That means all sorts of things take on a life of their own!" and then says about the trees and such, "That's how these guys started walking and talking like that. They're called 'homies,'" and that "animals can be personified too."
>Nami doesn't ask why Guy-in-Ground "buried himself here", but instead asks why he's "stuck here."
>Sanji isn't the main character
>luffy will be the one to WK her
Anon how delusional are? The arc is centered on sanji and his past. And unlike every other rescue arc we have had, this time the person in need of saving is incredibly strong. Luffy role this arc isn't to save pudding(who isn't in any real danger as of yet) but sanji. and that's exactly what he will be used for, to get the keys to sanji's cuff. Sanji of course has to deal with family but I'm sure he will be interacting with pudding this arc as well. And that's how their bond will deepen. It's not like it will take much for her to fall. All he has to do is help her with something she's battling with on the inside and maybe just protect her once and it's over for.
>y-you're a speed reader
>acts like this never happened
>thinking luffy get development with her
He has no need to anon, she's isn't A Damsel in distress. Every princess he has saved has started off in some sort of danger each arc. She hasn't the worst, hell she doesn't even feel like she would be in danger for helping them. Luffy is here to save sanji not a princess and her country anon.
See, that's what you wish would happen but it won't. I'm 100% it wont happen.
I like how you backtrack on your posts though
>Sanji has to deal with his family b-but that's not important
Literally the whole point of the arc is because of his family
>only needs to save her once
Oh really? I guess the other anon was right and she will fall for Luffy since he will be the one to take down big mom and freeing pudding from her mom
i could give you these. You'd still have to read 816 with niggastream scans though cause pm doesn't have it
a shame, that chapter was awesome
>she isn't a damsel in distress
>she doesn't even think she is in danger for helping them
Oh, you mean how corazon thought doffy wouldn't kill him because he is brothers with him?
>Oh, you mean how corazon thought doffy wouldn't kill him because he is brothers with him?
the hell? corazon was just lying to law to keep him calm.
he knew full well that doffy would kill him like he killed their father
Why do you make it so easy to embarrass you?
>he knew Doffy would've killed him like his father
1 it was never implied he was lying and 2 Big mom almost killed her own son. So you know she would do the same to pudding.
I only watched the anime, and I started reading the manga around where Zou started. Damn, there are many things happening in a single panel, my eyes start to hurt.
Though I guess I just have ADHD.
>that won't happen anon I'm 100% sur
Where anon? my original post was just that sanji and pudding bond would obviously get deeper this arc anon. Which it will, how he goes about it I don't know. When I say protecting her I don't just mean fighting anon. Since she already near in love, all he has to do is something as simple as kick a rock that's falling over her or some simple. I highly doubt anyone will attack or hurt her this arc. The biggest threat to her is probably BM and I still have to see how her relationship with her kids are since mix signals have been sent.
>sanji family isn't important
Anon I think your delusions are acting up again. I never once made that statement and I don't see how you even came to think I was implying that from "sanji will deal with his family and interact with pudding."
>luffy will take down BM and free pudding from her
Anon for one you're crazy if you honestly believe that luffy will be beating BM this arc. Two pudding
Isn't being threatened to listen to BM. So it's not as simple as "you beat the Big boss everyone gains freedom." She chooses to stay and listen to BM. If she really didn't want it she could have chosen Lola route and just ran off in search of her own love. So no if anyone will be saving her from BM control it would be sanji who would probably just talk to her about something like telling her she should be free to choose who she wants to marry.
And I can say with 100% that NamiXsanji will never happen.
Late and not sure if it's been mentioned, but if WCI is EL parallel and Sanji is Robin, then that makes Caesar the Franky of this arc.
>met SHs as enemy
>get dragged along as prisoner to big bad stronghold
I can't wait until Caesar's big redemption scene. Also, Jinbe will die.
Every princess he has saved are usually in danger by now right along with their country. Neither of these apply to pudding. So no she isn't luffy typical in need of help princess.
Anon you're just acting retarded here>>145406822. He knew full well that doffy was evil and wouldn't have a problem killing a traitor. He obviously only told law that tommake him feel better so stop acting dumb.
>she almost killed her son
She was on some crazy tantrum and out of her mind. But she has yet to show any ill will to her own flesh and blood. And by Lola giving the giver card it also implies that she cares for her kids enough to take care of those who help them. So it's not the same thing anon
Never thought of it that way. Huh.
I think it will. most annoying shippers you're talking about are people who ship Nami off with a crew member and SANAfags as of late have been 90% of those ship posters. So when they're out the way then most ship posting will be gone. Because LUHA shippers rarely post and even though people complain about LUNAfags still being around I never see them until a SANAfag post
>I never see them until a sana post
Well that's because LuNafags are so isecure about their dead ship that they have to reply, like if saying "that's not true, Luffy and Nami is canon hur" will help them in any way.
They are truly sad landwhales
See this is exactly what I am talking about, I said LUNA is a dead ship and here come this insecure LUNAfag saying "S-SANA is dead t-oo" Literally makes no sense saying that other than being butthurt or not understading why i was saying that.
I bet he is thinking " I sure told that sanafag, I got him good"
>y-you're a LUNAfag
Have you literally just been ignoring everything I said? That's why SANAfags need to be BTFO this arc. Anyone who doesn't agree with your ship is apparently a LUNAfag. Well it doesn't matter you all will be gone very soon
Why is Blackbeard so loved by everyone? I fucking hate him since he killed Ace and stole DF's. He is literally a joke considering that pre-timeskip he was clumsy and easily beaten.
>He is literally a joke considering that pre-timeskip he was clumsy and easily beaten.
That's one of the best things about him. Most major shonen villains are completely overpowering from start to finish. Blackbeard being fallible, but still effective, makes him unique.
It's also interesting watching a villain gain power parallel to the hero.
REMINDER: Whitey Bay was raped to death by Weevil. Where were you when she died?
He seems more like a cheater than an interesting character.
He is a total rookie and yet becomes yonko level. Has 2 devilfruits and always makes dirty ass plans (coming at the last second in a war and finishing off WB, or Burgess coming at the last second to steal Luffy's devil fruit).
He has way too many negative traits to be liked.
I don't particularly like him but he's very admirable. He devoted his dream to a single gamble and got fucking lucky and did whatever it took to get that Devil Fruit when he learned it was within his grasp. From then on he started steamrolling everyone and owning the pirate game. He was nothing but a weak shit joke at first but he had his shit planned out for the longest time.
>I hate what a huge pussy is.
He tried to fight Ace, and won.
He tried to fight Magellan, and lost.
He tried to fight Whitebeard and nearly died.
He tried to take on Sengoku and all of Marineford.
He tried to kill the Revolutionaries.
And he finally fought against CP0 briefly.
He's a mix of courageous and cowardly. Intelligent and stupidity. Really all around he only becomes a pussy when facing death.
He was shit though and he knew it. Thats why he killed his own crewmate to steal the fruit with 0 effort.
And now he only relies on his OP fruit.
Plus no one in the history of Shonen got made a bitch harder than when Whitestache whooped his ass like 70% dead already
He was one of the strongest people on WB's crew before he got the fruit. His only losses have been against Magellan, due to bad fruit match-up and overconfidence, and WB, who is the strongest character in the series.
Because he was already outmatched trying to take-on all of the marines and WB's crew simultaneously and already had everything he came there for already? And Shanks is really strong? Fucking Mihawk doesn't even want to fight him.
He's also an effective foil for luffy. Both are following their dreams, but while BB relies on his fruit as a crutch, luffy fights on despite his seemingly pointless and somewhat ridiculous power. BB is supposed to look weak compared to luffy, because of he gives in to his fears of losing the yami yami no mi. Luffy on the other hand, never sways from his own moral compass.
Who wouldn't be?
Let's not forget he has that magical D. initial, granting him super destiny power. He's never come off as exactly weak to me, just an opportunist with no scruples.
I like how it seemed like he and Luffy would have gotten along well if they had spent more time together when they first met.
Same reason Luffy ran away from Sentomaru after oneshotting a Pacifista- There was nothing to gain from it
He did just get the crap beat out of him by WB, fighting 2 emperors in a row while in the territory of another enemy is a good way to lose
>BB relying on his fruit is bad
>Luffy relying on his extended reach, ability to absorb impacts, and Gears 2,3 and 4 is ok though
>BB gives into fear while Luffy never sways from his moral compass
Those are two different things
The idea was that BB could only see his dreams fulfilled with a single fruit while luffy would have pursued his dream no matter what fruit he randomly ate. BB killed a nakama, he expressed some regret, saying it was unfortunate, but he valued the power above all else, thus he is bending his moral code and the promises he made when joining the crew. It's a shonen manga, anon, it's not difficult.
>when you remember Mayuri and Caesar are both voiced by Frieza
Will Oda make Usopp a serious charcter at any point?
I'm so tired of
and usopp being the butt of all jokes
What if the manga becomes so bad that the studio stops following canon and make their own version of the anime?
There's a couple of anime-only characters that have potential to come back
They could have a dispute with Oda on something and decide to follow their own plot, I'm sure fuji television wouldn't mind considering how the ratings are most likely going down
I'm sure the animators have some of their own ideas too
Some of the fillers are pretty decent
Lovely-Land and G-8 for example are one's I actually enjoyed
Although this is a pipe dream and will probably never happen
Everybody in that picture is dead
How strong is Shanks' Crew if they can make an admiral put his hands up?
At this stage of the game why was Haki not dealing real damage to Logia users? (such as Whitebeard's glaive passing through Kizaru, Marco and the swordsman not cutting Sakazuki)
>falls off reverse mountain
>grabs on a piece of driftwood from previous ships
>gets on a ship manned by Hypno pirate
>spends 2 years going through grand line and getting stronger with the sole purpose of killing strawhats
I really like his devil fruit powers
There's so much untapped there
But does their Haki make their Logia ignore Haki? And at this point, aside from Micock nothing else turned Black when Haki was used either. I'm very confused by how Haki works and how it scales, but there's no power levels in one piece or even "stages" to Haki to show how it works.
logia can create and become so they create an excess of their element then become it and move out of the way. this way the haki user hits their element but not their actual body.
Of course, but if the logia user purposefully changes their body structure through use of their powers, they could phase through even haki attacks. At least that's what I believe.
He was filler anyway.
So lets talk about Straw Hats that are confirmed killers..
Chopper killed Gedatsu
Sanji killed Satorii Hotorii and Kotorii
Robin surely has some kills
No confirmed kills for the others though huh?
I'm more pissed at the fact that the build up and expectations of the New World being hell on earth turned out to be a load of bullshit.
Nothing has been able to back up all the pre-timeskip claims of the New World since they entered it.
Can't even begin to tell you how hyped I was when they emerged from the ocean and appeared in a sea of harsh storms and fire on the water, and now I'm just disappointed.
I expected the Strawhats to get their asses handed to them by simple fodder characters in the New World, not being able to sail safely in the sea, and in general having a tough time.
To be honest, I think Oda is on the road to becoming a withered, dried out husk of his former self, just like Kishimoto and Kubo. Taking tons of terrible turns and writing up ass pulls for his story.
Has anyone else grown out of One Piece?
Each arc these days seems to just parallel a pre timeskip arc and repeats the same story & character formula.
nice digits ill attempt a rebuttal
coliseum = big fight in center square, rebels v soldiers
sugars df = bon kureis, unconventional paramecias used to advance the plot
barto & mugi fleet = bon kurei saving the strawhats from the marines during their departure
Zoro killed Mr 7 off screen after he tried to recruit him
Are you a retard?
when an agent dies another agent fills his position.
